Min Woo walks up the stairs with the book that holds the key to the room. At the top of the stairs, he asks how she got into the room? Is this also something that she can't tell him about? I love that this is his question. Not ‘how could you betray me?!’ but ‘is this another thing you can’t explain yet?’ Open your mouth, Ji Sook! She whispers that the door was open. Min Woo laughs. The door was just open? She won’t meet his eyes. Min Woo says that there are three ways to open that door. He pulls the key out of the book and holds it up as he says that you can open it with this key. Or with the spare key kept in the safe in his office. Or breaking the door.
Min Woo says that he has no memory of leaving that door open. Because he didn’t and wouldn’t, given what’s inside. He asks if she’s still maintaining the door was open? She slightly nods. He tells her to tell him looking into his eyes. She can’t.
Min Woo interviews a maid. Did she clean his room today? Was the door open on the second floor? Is it the door he told her never to touch? It was open. How did Seok Hoon pay her off?
Min Woo arrives at his office. Minion is just leaving after returning the key. Min Woo checks his safe and the key is there. He sits at his desk and looks at the key.
Seok Hoon asks if there's a more miserable couple than a husband and wife who don’t trust each other. That was his first assigned case after he got appointed as a prosecutor. A husband suspected the wife of having an affair and the wife suspected the husband would eventually kill her for insurance money. The doubt created a bigger doubt and they both started to observe each other. Mi Yeon asks what happened. Seok Hoon says that everything started with a small misunderstanding. The man the wife was seeing was her cousin. And the husband never even took out an insurance policy. But the couple did not acknowledge the facts. They were looking to find the other's mistakes so they wouldn't have to admit their own mistakes. They didn't trust each other until the end.
Mi Yeon asks why he’s telling her the story out of the blue. Seok Hoon replies that the instant your trust is broken, the marriage becomes hell. He smiles slightly and says that it's fortunate for them. They almost become like that, too. Almost? Seok Hoon knows that’s not true. Mi Yeon’s face agrees with me, that it’s not true at all. Seok Hoon says that he just remembered that couple all of a sudden, since their wedding anniversary is coming up.
Mi Yeon says that it’s not because she doesn’t trust him, but because she’s curious, she’s been trying to figure out the pass code for his phone so that she can see who he’s been communicating with. She tells him that he can check her phone with her permission. She’ll use a easy code. He doesn’t say anything. She sighs and says that she won’t do it anymore. She promises! Seok Hoon tells her that she doesn’t have to make any promises. He never once mistrusted her. Because you’re the untrustworthy one!
Maid who lied about the key drops one of the pills in Min Woo’s water. He drinks it later, while sitting at his desk. Ji Sook looks burdened as she sits on the couch. He apologizes for yelling at her earlier. She asks why he’s apologizing. She was wrong to enter that room. She looks down, feeling bad. But at least you didn’t leave the evidence in there. He asks if she isn’t afraid of him. She almost died because of him and he couldn't remember that fact for a while. She asks him if he’s afraid of her. He doesn’t know what kind of person she actually is. She looks at him and says that she’s not afraid of him. Because she knows what kind of person he is. Aw! Super sweet!
Later that night, Min Woo’s groaning wakes Ji Sook. He's asleep and groaning. She goes to cover him. He’s reliving almost drowning. She shakes him and asks if he’s okay. When he wakes up, after remembering choking her, he jumps back away from her, knocking the lamp off the side table. Seok Hoon’s right there, knocking, asking if they’re okay. Just waiting since he drugged Min Woo and all. Ji Sook says that they’re fine. The whole family comes in, plus Yun Soo and Chul. Really?
Min Woo still looks out of it. Dad demands to know what happened. Dazed Min Woo. Ji Sook says that it’s because of a bug. Min Woo looks in her direction. Seok Hoon doesn’t look happy that she’s explaining this away. A big bug appeared suddenly and Min Woo tried to get it for her. Min Woo looks down. Mi Yeon says that it’s strange. She’s never seen any big bugs in this house. Stepmom says that it’s a relief that it was because of a bug. She worried that Min Woo might have made a mistake again. Min Woo looks at her and asks, “A mistake?” Stepmom says she means yesterday's incident.
Dad orders everyone to leave and yells at Chul for slacking on his job. How is Chul maintaining this house that there’s a bug? Everyone leaves.
Doc Kim is telling Dad to have committed. He must be treated for the root cause, more strenuously than what they’re doing now, in a place where he can focus only on the treatments 24 hours a day. Doc Kim says that should do it before he causes a bigger problem. If not in a hospital, Min Woo will end up in jail. Dad sighs. Stepmom’s face twitches as she holds back a smile.
As Doc Kim goes to leave, Ji Sook catches up with him. She says that she wanted to talk with him about the night before, in case he misunderstands what happened. She says that it was really because of a bug. He condescendingly says that he understands. She adds that the incident when Min Woo fell into the pool was really a mistake. Doc Kim asks if she worries about Min Woo, how people might think strangely about Min Woo? Or is she really worrying about Min Woo's OCD? Doc Kim says that he’s not sure what Min Woo would end up doing if left alone. Worst case scenario, Min Woo could commit murder.
Ji Sook remembers the night before their wedding, when Min Woo tried to get rid of her before he killed her. She shakes her head and tells Doc Kim that Min Woo is not that kind of person. Doc Kim says that he understands. She asks if there’s a way for her to help Min Woo. Doc Kim suggests that he help Min Woo take his medication regularly. If he doesn't take them, something really bad will happen.
Ji Sook looks at the pill bottle and starts to ask him about it. He grab it out of her hand and tells her not to worry about it. He’s taking all his prescribed medications on a regular basis. He holds up the bottle and tells her not to touch his things ever again! He walks away.
Min Woo is at work. He sees a hair on the floor. Someone was in his office. He shuts the blinds and opens his safe. He looks at the wedding picture and notices something’s off. He holds it up to the light and a fingerprint is evident. Someone was in his safe. Because his OCD wouldn’t let him leave a finger print on it.
Worker2 asks the group if they’ve heard the rumor. They may be getting another director. Manager says that he heard the Director not only has a bribery charge but he also has a record of receiving psychiatric treatments. He also heard that the board of directors said this is intolerable, even for the CEO's son. Ji Sook and Mi Yeon both hear. They meet out on the roof. Ji Sook asks if Mi Yeon’s not worried. Min Woo is her younger brother. Mi Yeon answers that it may be better if Min Woo stops working and focuses on his treatments.
Ji Sook says that Min Woo might have another incident like that. Mi Yeon asks what she means? The incident when he fell into the pool? Ji Sook says that it’s not just that. Mi Yeon knows that Min Woo is a sensitive person. His feelings would get hurt if he has to give up his position. Mi Yeon asks what Ji Sook wants to do. Ji Sook doesn’t know. She asks Mi Yeon what they should do. Mi Yeon reminds Ji Sook that she and Min Woo aren’t close at all. She might applaud if Min Woo gives up his position. Ji Sook just looks at her, not believing his noona could say that.
Mi Yeon mutters that Ji Sook is a jerk, acting all nice. What did Eun Ha say when she first came to their house? Marrying Min Woo was a business deal. Eun Ha insinuated a question like, who would have a bigger loss if the marriage breaks up? Ji Sook asks if she said that. Mi Yeon answers that Eun Ha forgets things when it’s to her advantage. Mi Yeon asks what Ji Sook is contemplating. Ji Sook tries to say that she sincerely wants to help but Mi Yeon cuts her off and says that she really doesn't like Eun Ha, Jerk. Ji Sook sighs.
Worker3 is sending a message to someone. They must not tell anyone about this. This is the company's confidential info. This time their executive director... Switch to Manager with another employee who says that he heard the Executive Director will be arrested. Manager can’t believe it. Worker2 tells someone that she saw it with her own eyes that he was getting the cash by the truckload. Mi Yeon overhears the gossip say that the executive director can't remember any of it because of his sleepwalking! He took the bribe while sleeping.
Mi Yeon walks over to them and startles them by tossing her drinks onto the table. She says that she heard that it wasn't sleepwalking, but one time, when he was young, he was eating while sleeping. So long ago! And he went to the prosecutor's office as a witness on a different case. Worker2 says that she saw it with her own eyes that he was taking a bribe. Mi Yeon glares at her and she stops talking. Mi Yeon says that, regardless, the Executive Director didn’t take any bribes nor does he sleepwalk. So they should just spread that rumor.
Min Woo walks up to the elevator right as one employee says that he heard weird rumors about the new Executive Director. Other employee knows all about it. Accepting bribes, breach of trust, embezzlement, sleepwalking and he even has schizophrenia. They laugh as he says that his energy is drained. Ji Sook comes up and sees it all. Guy2 says that aside from being the CEO’s son, he has no reason to be in that position! Guy1 agrees. Min Woo’s head drops, bothered. Ji Sook can’t take it any more. She says, “Executive Director!” The guys jump when they realize Min Woo is behind them. She walks up to Min Woo, respectfully bows and asks if he’s been well.
Elevator arrives and Guys don’t want to get on. Min Woo and Ji Sook board and Guys cringe at being idiots. Inside the elevator, Ji Sook notices that Min Woo is sweating. She reaches over to wipe it away and he moves away from her touch. He uses his own handkerchief. He tells her that he’s fine. As he steps off the elevator, he gets dizzy and loosens his tie. He hallucinates a bunch of people walking past him and has to grab the wall to keep from falling. She gets him to leave.
As they drive, he still looks a bit out of it. She asks if he feels better now? He asks if he feels better about what? He asks where they’re going. She smiles and asks him where they should go. He wants to go back to work. She disagrees. She doesn't think they should. It's lunch time. They need to eat. Min Woo says that he’s not hungry right now. Ji Sook says that she is. They skipped breakfast.
They end up at a restaurant that Min Woo had gone to before with Eun Ha. She says that she heard this restaurant is famous and people wait in line to come in on busy days. He asks if this is because he took her to the soup and rice place before? Because she thought he’d like it? She answers that they came because she wanted to have some tasty food. He always thinks he is the center of attention, too. The second time she’s quoted him to himself. Heh. At any rate, they should eat since they’re already here.
Min Woo notices how Ji Sook straightens out her utensils so that they’re OCD straight. He sighs. She’s trying to be encouraging and he’s getting offended. He asks if he looks strange to her. Does he look pitiful? And she wants to help him, but doesn't know a method to help. He tells her to please not treat him like a patient. She says that she’s already thinking that a lot on her own. She’s not treating him like a patient. She’s his wife. He looks at her, surprised. Isn't it expected for a wife to take care of her husband?
Min Woo gets an alarmed phone call. There’s a huge problem. Prosecutor Yang Hyuk Joon of Special Division in Seoul District Prosecutors' Office arrives at the house with a warrant. This guy again? He has got to be in Seok Hoon’s back pocket. They enter the residence. Seok Hoon intercepts them and asks if they know where they are. Prosecutor says that he knows it well! Does Seok Hoon want to be charged with obstruction of justice? He tells Seok Hoon to move. Seok Hoon looks at the warrant.
Min Woo and Ji Sook arrive. He asks what it’s all about. Seok Hoon tells him not to worry and just go upstairs. He’ll take care of it. Min Woo repeats his question. Ji Sook remembers the evidence that she was supposed to plant and hurries upstairs. Prosecutor tells his men to find all of SJ Shopping Mall materials and anything that is related to Scumbag.
Stepmom is stewing. Should she call the director of the prosecutors' office? Dad wants to know what she’d say. The faint-hearted will dodge first. They should hit it head on and see who will dodge first.
Ji Sook hurries into her room to grab the evidence out of her pants. She should have torched it. Prosecutor enters where Dad is. He bows. Dad says that there's no reason for an ordinary prosecutor to be doing this. He’s very curious to see who is behind Prosecutor. Dad glances at Seok Hoon and then asks if Prosecutor’s backer gave carrots? Did he whip Prosecutor? Prosecutor replies that he has no one like that. Dad laughs and says that they’ll wait and see.
Everyone enters Min Woo’s room. Prosecutor demands that the secret room be opened. Dad orders Chul to go get tools to break to door down. Without a word, Min Woo goes and opens the door. Prosecutor and his men start to ransack the room. Dad sees the pictures of Oma, the murder board. Prosecutor specifically looks at the books. He grabs the book that Ji Sook was supposed to plant and says that he found something. They cut open the binding and there’s a bag with white powder in it.
Prosecutor emerges from the room and holds up the bag. He asks Min Woo what it is. Min Woo looks guilty. Dad glares at Min Woo. Ji Sook looks horrified because she left the book there. Seok Hoon can’t help but smirk. Mi Yeon sees him.
But it’s not drugs. At least not the illegal kind. Seok Hoon announces to Dad that the stuff in the bag is Min Woo’s prescriptions that he hasn’t been taking. And we know that he has been, but this is sneaky. Why did Min Woo look guilty. He can't be punished for not taking his medication and saving it. The question is, why did he save those and throw them away? Or not throw them away. He could have more easily thrown them down the toilet. Logic anyone? Seok Hoon says that he’s worried about it. Stepmom wonders if they really need to find an institution for him as the doctor said. Seok Hoon tells Dad that he needs to decide, before it is too late.
Min Woo is miserable. He’s sitting on the couch with his head on his knees as the maids put his room back in order. Ji Sook feels horrible. Seok Hoon approaches her and asks why she's looking at him with those eyes? Everything is going as planned. She tells him that he was right. No matter how hard you try, you'll get stomped at the end if you are powerless.
Switch to Ji Hyuk with his parents. Noona gave him the money. He pulls out an insurance policy that Ji Sook had manufactured as an explanation. Ji Hyuk begs Mom to get treated. Mom refuses. How can she spend this money? This is the money for Ji Sook's life! Ji Hyuk yells at her not to do it then and that Noona must be happy to know about this.
He gets a text from Ji Sook, asking to meet in the park. She asks how Mom is. She tells him to take her quickly to the hospital. Ji Hyuk asks if Ji Sook’s going to stop after the treatments. Or is she going to continue this until the debt is paid off? How much must she earn for her to return? Is she coming back or not? What they need is Noona, and not the money! She answers that they need is the money. They have to have money in order for her to return. She mentions his last job and finds out that he kept the key card he used to get in.
Ji Sook goes to Scumbag’s place. She thinks of Ji Hyuk almost killing Scumbag.
Mi Yeon is drinking. Seok Hoon approaches and, after he sits, tells her not to worry too much about Brother-in-law. Everything will work out well. She looks at him and asks what way is working out well? He says that the prosecutors' office didn't find the evidence for accepting bribery. Mi Yeon says that they found sleeping medications instead. She says that it’s strange. They didn't find the evidence they came to find. But found unexpected sleeping medications instead. Right about the time there are discussions about Min Woo's psychiatric hospitalization. Seok Hoon’s face knows that she’s figured it out.
She smiles at him and asks if he notices anything different about her today? He doesn’t. She replies that she notices whatever is different about Seok Hoon. His face is slowly changing to a tired face, but she is only one not noticing it. So she looked carefully. How his face is changing. He asks what she’s getting at. She says that she likes it. She frowns at herself and looks away. She pours herself another drink.
She tells him that she’s scared. The day he has everything, if that day ever comes, he’ll be leaving her, right? That’s really sad.
Ji Sook sits on Min Woo’s side of the bed. Min Woo is sitting on the couch. They glance at each other. He gets up and walks over to her. He says that he’s going to ask her one more time. It's fine if she gets angry, but please answer him. She nods that she will. The person who left the sleeping medications in that room wasn’t her, right? She drops her head. He asks why she isn’t answering? Why is she screaming no and getting angry? Why isn’t she talking? He looks so hurt right now.

He finally stops his car and starts to cry. The police arrive and asks him to hand over his license. He’s been driving around in a circle and making the store owners nervous. After Cop looks at Min Woo’s license, he asks if Min Woo is lost. Min Woo says he isn’t. He just has no place to go.
Ji Sook has gone to Eun Ha’s. She reads the yearbook quote: If you wear a mask, you won't ever be happy. She thinks of how Min Woo says that at least you can pretend that you are happy if you are wearing a mask like you. Him holding her and comforting her. Him declaring that she’s his wife. Her face looks very determined. Eun Ha’s voice says that there's no way you'll survive if you don't wear a mask. She nods.
Seok Hoon carries Mi Yeon to bed. He looks at her for a while.
Ji Sook has asked to see him. They meet in the wine cellar. She says that she has to know what his plan is. He asks why she’s suddenly curious. She says it’s because she can't continue to live like this. She’s been thinking about it. They made a deal and she’s done everything that he instructed her to do. So, she has to know his plan in order to make her own plan, if she doesn’t want to continue to live like this.
Seok Hoon laughs and says that he’ll tell her. Soon, there will be an emergency board meeting. Choi Min Woo will soon step down from the executive director position, because of what she hid in Choi Min Woo's room. After that, the Choi Min Woo who has lost the trust of the Chairman, will get booted from the heir's spot to a mental hospital. Half of Choi Min Woo's stocks will come to her and the other half will come to him. She says that they should do that. Since they've made a deal.
Next morning. Family breakfast. Everyone is there. Stepmom asks if Min Woo slept well. There was the incident from yesterday. Min Woo says that he couldn't sleep well because of yesterday's incident. Stepmom starts to say something but Ji Sook says that the medications weren’t Min Woo's. Someone put that in his room without his knowledge. She looks at Seok Hoon as she says it. Dad question that and Min Woo sighs. Ji Sook says that otherwise there would be no reason for it to be discovered in Min Woo's room. Mi Yeon says that if Ji Sook’s words are true, Dad certainly can't just let it go this time. Seok Hoon says that he’ll investigate the maids who cleaned Min Woo's room. Min Woo says that he'll do it himself.
Dad smacks the table with his spoon and growls that they’re deceived by each other and deceiving each other. Doubting each other and fighting with each other. Now their house has become like that. Min Woo asks if their house wasn’t already like that. Heh. Min Woo’s done. Min Woo stares pointedly at Dad. Seok Hoon can’t stifle his smile. Ji Sook and he look at each other.
Seok Hoon invites Mi Yeon to go to work together. She asks why and he says he just wanted to, so she agrees. As they’re leaving Min Woo and Ji Sook walk by. There’s a definite chill between Ji Sook and Seok Hoon. Mi Yeon asks if something happened between them. They look like people who just fought. Seok Hoon asks what reason there could be for them to fight. Min Woo says that it could happen if they can't agree. Min Woo steps forward and pulls out The Pen. He says that it’s Seok Hoon’s, right? Seok Hoon asks how Min Woo has it. Min Woo says that he found it. It looks important to Seok Hoon, so don't lose it next time. Min Woo is definitely done. He and Ji Sook leave.
Loan Shark chases Ji Sook down and almost runs her over. Then he obliquely threatens to expose her, so she goes off with him. She asks what he’s trying to do by coming there? Min Woo finds out that Eun Ha was alone in the office that day. As Manager talks, Min Woo sees Mi Yeon ask Ji Sook for a talk. He thinks of the hair he found.
Mi Yeon asks Ji Sook what happened? The sleeping medication? Is it really Min Woo's? Ji Sook doesn’t answer. Mi Yeon says that there will be an emergency board meeting for the vote on termination of the Executive Director. A half brother is still a brother. Min Woo is her dongsaeng! She can't let Min Woo be ruined like this! Mi Yeon asks if Min Woo has been taking his medications regularly, or did he really save those pills and not take them? Ji Sook doesn’t say anything.
Mi Yeon says that Eun Ha asked for her help. She needs to know what’s going on in order to help. Ji Sook says that she doesn't have to help, which shocks Mi Yeon. I’m a little surprised, too, but I think it’s because Ji Sook knows that Mi Yeon’s blind spot is Seok Hoon and that’s who they’re fighting against. Ji Sook repeats it: Mi Yeon doesn’t have to help. Ji Sook bows and walks away and Mi Yeon isn’t sure what she should do now.
Ji Sook returns to her desk. Manager orders her to go buy some coffee. Worker2 says she wants no syrup in hers. Worker3 says he wants his iced. Ji Sook agrees. She notices that Min Woo isn’t in his office.
Min Woo is sitting out in the parking lot with Chang Soo. He’s staring at the wedding portrait from his safe. Chang Soo asks: Do it? Don't do it? Min Woo is pretty unresponsive. Chang Soo says that he thinks that Min Woo shouldn’t. Min Woo asks why not. Chang Soo says that he’d be doing it because he’s doubting his wife. They’re husband and wife. Husband and wife? Chang Soo says that he thinks it’s Min Woo’s print. Logically speaking. Min Woo says that he just wants to confirm that it isn’t Seo Eun Ha's print. If not, he could continue to doubt his wife. It takes a half day, right?
Ji Sook returns from getting coffee. She sees Doc Kim waiting in the lobby. She smiles and starts to go over to him, but stops once she sees that Doc Kim is meeting Seok Hoon. She returns upstairs. Min Woo is back in his office and about to take one of his pills. She hurries in and tells him not to take it. He asks why and she doesn’t give a reason. Only asks him not to take it. He doesn’t.
Dad is at home, talking to the maid who has been drugging Min Woo’s water. He asks if she’s sure she saw it. She says she’s sure. The Young Master was crushing the pills in the middle of the night. Dad’s fists shakes with anger. Seok Hoon gives maid a smile as he enters. She looks uncomfortable as she bows and then leaves. And we know why that is. I hope this girl grows a conscience. Seok Hoon says that there's an emergency board meeting soon. He asks what Dad’s planning on doing and says that if Dad wants him to, he can reject the agenda of dismissing Min Woo. Such a good son-in-law, even if this is all his machinations to start with. He’ll do whatever Dad wants… Of course… Dad says that his will is for Min Woo to be where he needs to be. Whatever that means.
Dad arrives at the main office. He walks with purpose.
Min Woo walks through his office. Everyone watches him walk by.
Chang Soo arrives with the results of the fingerprint test. Min Woo asks what the results are. Chang Soo didn’t look at it. He couldn't look it. It's better if Min Woo looks for himself. Min Woo takes the envelope. They head away from the office to the emergency meeting.
Manager is saying that he sees it as not getting fired. Who would dare fire the CEO’s son? Worker3 wonders if the Director has caused so much trouble that the CEO can’t think to oppose it? Manager thinks that sounds true, too. Worker2 wonders if they need to give Min Woo a going away party? He’s not fired yet. Manager says that a going away party is over doing it. They’re not that loyal. Manager says that they do need to do something to cheer Min Woo up. They don’t know when, where and how they’d run into him in the future. Worker2 sighs and says that when you're tired, it's encouraging even to have someone next to you. Very true. Worker3 wonders if they should go watch. Ji Sook takes what Worker2 said to heart. Ji Sook wordlessly gets up and leaves to support Min Woo. The other workers and Mi Yeon follow.
In the meeting room, Min Woo looks at the envelope with the fingerprint results. Even though, wouldn’t he be comparing them to Eun Ha’s fingerprints? So, of course, they’re not going to match. Lackey asks Seok Hoon is Dad coming to the meeting means that he doesn’t want them to dismiss Min Woo. Seok Hoon smiles and says that he’s not sure. The CEO has more faith in the maids than in his own son. Ouch! But it’s true.
Dad enters and tells everyone to sit. Dad says that he came here today not as father who's trying to protect his foolish son, but as a businessman who developed this company. Nice, Dad, to call Min Woo foolish, when all the furor is not because he’s been irresponsible at all. If being his son is the only reason for Min Woo to be the Director, and so destroy this company, he will not tolerate it. Min Woo looks down, because, of course, Dad isn’t going to support him. Seok Hoon can’t help but smile a little as Min Woo suffers. He’ll accept the board's decision, so please discuss the Director's good and bad precisely. They’ll be casting their votes using a secret ballot. Dad sits.
The meeting starts. Today's agenda is a proposal to remove Choi Min Woo as Executive Director of this company. Another smile from Seok Hoon.
Workers and Ji Sook and Mi Yeon are outside the boardroom. Mi Yeon looks at Ji Sook with eyes that ask what she’s planning on doing. Inside, Seok Hoon is doing what he told Dad he would: acting like he supports Min Woo staying Executive Director. He tells the group that the allegation of bribery is still under investigation by the police. Unless it's a fact, it can't be used as a reason for termination. Lackey brings up the sleeping pills that were found in his hidden room. Muttering from the board. I guess that’s news to them. It's only a matter of time before this reaches the public. This entire group's image could be ruined! Before the matter gets worse, it's better for him to leave today on his own two feet. I would have Lackey on my list definitely after this.
Chair of the meeting asks if Min Woo has anything to say? Min Woo looks at Dad. Then he looks at his envelope.
Outside, Mi Yeon tells Ji Sook to tell the truth. She knows something, right? Manager asks what Mi Yeon is talking about? She's just an intern. After a pause, Ji Sook looks at Mi Yeon and says that Min Woo is her family as well. Slack jaws from the workers.
Inside, Min Woo says that he has nothing to say. Dad sighs, like he’s disgusted. Seok Hoon smiles again. Of course, Dad is sitting behind Seok Hoon, so he can’t see any of these smiles. Chair says that they will start the vote on Choi Min Woo's dismissal.
Ji Sook enters the boardroom, surprising everyone. Min Woo wonders why she’s there. She bows to the room and apologizes. She came in like this because there is something they must hear. She says that she’s Executive Director Choi Min Woo's wife, Seo Eun Ah.

Thoughts
This episode saw Ji Sook finally starting to fight – for herself and for Min Woo – and Min Woo being challenged in his faith in his wife. Is he going to trust this woman? Everything keeps piling on to have him say no: she was in the secret room, the pills end up planted in there, she didn’t deny planting them there. And there’s a mysterious fingerprint that he knows isn’t his. When she doesn’t deny panting the evidence, he felt so betrayed, but still, he wants to trust and believe in her.
I think, watching Min Woo be in that much pain is what finally got Ji Sook to start to fight. She’s been fighting for her family, but – as she told Mi Yeon outside the boardroom – Min Woo is her family, too.
I really wish that Mi Yeon didn’t have such a blind spot where Seok Hoon is concerned. She loves Min Woo. That much is very clear, because he’s her dongsaeng, regardless of how anyone in her life is pressuring her to feel and act otherwise. Ji Sook, I think, knows this, too, but because of that blind spot, she can’t confide in Mi Yeon at all. Which is too bad, because I really think that Mi Yeon wants to help. I wonder what Mi Yeon will do, when it comes down to choosing between Min Woo and Seok Hoon. I ultimately hope that she chooses Min Woo, and I think she actually will, but you never know what will happen.
Finally someone – Ji Sook – has caught on to something being hinky with Min Woo’s mental status. Not that he’s crazy, but there’s something nefarious going on. First there’s the nightmare and being out of it when he wakes. then he starts sweating after going back on his medication, and he almost falls over. Then she sees Seok Hoon and Doc Kim being so friendly. Coupled with how Doc Kim wants everyone to make sure that Min Woo takes his medication! Or else he could kill someone! She’s definitely suspicious. I do like the fact that, regardless of how he’s wrestling with trusting her, when she asks him not to take the pill that is supposed to be keeping him sane, he doesn’t. It’s like instinctually, he knows he can trust her, even if his head is getting in the way.
I did love their conversation where Ji Sook told him that, despite everything that’s happened, how everything looks, she trusts him and knows that he’s not dangerous. No one, before her, ever treated him or believed in him that way (besides Oma). I also love that twice now, she has repeated his words back to him, which shows that she was paying attention and that they meant something to her. I also love that when he’s feeling sorry for himself and thinks she’s pitying him, she sets him straight and says that it’s wifely affection.
I wonder if the Prosecutor that is coming after Min Woo, if he’s friends with Seok Hoon behind the scenes. He seems to be really tipped off and in on the plan and even though they acted adversarial, I really wonder if this isn’t crooked Prosecutor doing his buddy a favor.
Have to stay that I still really detest Dad, but I love that Min Woo is finally starting to not just take it anymore. Dad isn’t loyal to anyone but himself and Min Woo needs to stop kowtowing to try to earn that loyalty, because Dad’s not going to give it. I do wonder what Ji Sook’s planning on saying, but Min Woo’s face said that her just being there was enough for him. I predict he’s not going to look at the results in the envelope, but choose to just trust his wife.
