He makes it to the bedroom where she is and almost makes it outside with them when he is hit by a falling chandelier. It doesn’t stop him though. He collapses on the ground beside her once they are outside. As he loses consciousness, he makes sure that he’s holding her hand. He thinks of when they walked down the path together, the path that guarantees a couple will be together forever if they walk down it together. Of them crossing the river on the bridge of stones together.
He wakes up to find himself alone. And not where he lost consciousness. Now he is down by the edge of the lake. He catches sight of a piece of Ji Sook’s dress, but no Ji Sook.
Back at Casa Choi, the police are questioning Min Woo. Why did he have a piece of clothing covered in Ms. Seo Eun Ha's blood? Does her really not remember that incident? Min Woo says nothing. He’s sitting next to Seok Hoon. Seok Hoon tells Cop that it hasn’t been confirmed yet whether it's Seo Eun Ha's blood. Cop should only ask Min Woo about what has been confirmed. Cop sighs and looks in his notebook. Behind him, Dad, Stepmom and Mi Yeon are watching the interview.
Cop says that Min Woo’s car was found about 10 kilometers away from the villa, near the lake. This needs to be explained. Min Woo asks if his wife is still alive. She is, right? Cop says that they found a stain of blood on a rock near the lake. If it is indeed her blood, the chances of her still being alive are very slim. Min Woo shakes his head and says that she will be alive. She’s not the type to die that easily. Cop2 enters with Ji Sook’s hairbrush. He declares that if the DNA matches, it is very likely that she is dead.
In the dining room, Stepmom worries that Min Woo's illness has recurred. Eun Ha almost died from drowning in our pool last time too. Dad asks if Mi Yeon knows anything. Is Min Woo really responsible for this? Mi Yeon says that there’s no way and that doesn’t make sense. She’s sure Min Woo tried to save her from falling into the water. Doesn’t that just make more logical sense.
Mi Yeon goes into Min Woo’s bedroom, where he’s dejectedly sitting on his couch, absently scratching his arm. She says his name, which gets his attention. Weakly he asks if she knows anything about it. If she does, please tell him. Min Woo says that Ji Sook sounded like she was going to take off to somewhere.
Mi Yeon thinks about the letter that Ji Sook wrote him, explaining everything, and how she ripped it up so that Ji Sook couldn’t make Seok Hoon a murderer.
Min Woo says that he’s begging her. Is there anything she knows about this? He just wants to know if she's at least alive. Mi Yeon says that Ji Sook is alive. She can't explain it, but Ji Sook’s alive. She can feel it. Just like he said, she wouldn't just die that easily. He knows it as well as she does. She tells him to have faith. He nods and tries to convince himself that Noona’s right. Byeon Ji Sook is a very brave person. She’s alive. She must be alive. He covers his face with his hands.
Min Woo goes over to Angel-in-us Coffee. It’s closed with a sign on the door saying that they’re closed to to interior renovation. He found on the door, calling for Father-in-law, Brother-in-law. Someone new answers and asks who he is. When Min Woo asks, Guy says that the shop was sold to a new owner.
Min Woo heads to the department store and asks Boss, mhwa and mja is they’ve heard from Seo Eun Ha at all. Mja asks if something happened to Eun Ha. Instead of answering, he asks Boss to contact him if Eun Ha calls. He’s asking for that favor. They agree. He gets a phone call.
It’s the police who says that they found a corpse that matches Ji Sook’s age and physique. He hurries to the police station, but as he drives he tries to convince himself that it’s not her. At the morgue, he goes to identify the body. As the coroner pulls the sheet away, Min Woo averts his eyes. Coroner waits. After a moment, Min Woo forces himself to look and sighs with relief. It’s not his wife.
As he leaves the Coroner’s Office, he staggers and has to catch himself with the wall. He takes a few more steps and slumps to the ground. He starts to cry and calls his Hyung. He asks Hyung to find his wife. She's not dead but he can't find... her... He starts to sob as he asks Hyung to please find her for him. He sobs for a moment and then composes himself. He asks Hyung to please find her for him and investigate this case. Also, the person who started the fire at the villa... Please catch the culprit. His pour tear-stained face. He hangs up the phone and cries some more.
Ji Sook wakes up in a hospital bed. Doctor asks Ms. Kim Yoo Jin is she’s feeling better. He says that she almost drowned, but thankfully she’s recovered. He tells her to get some rest. She asks where she is. Who saved her? Where’s her husband right now? They don’t answer her. Ji Sook wonders what she’s going to do now.
Yun Soo, Chang Soo and Chul are talking and feeling sad about Ms. Seo. Chul dabs his eyes and says that he cried all night. Chang Soo says that nothing probably happened to Ms. Seo, right? Yun Soo tells him not to say such a thing. Min Woo walks by and asks if Ji Sook has called. They sadly nod that she hasn’t. Seok Hoon walks by and Min Woo says that they should talk.
In the study, Min Woo says that he knows that it was Seok Hoon that locked Byeon Ji Sook in the house and started the fire. He demands to know what Seok Hoon has done with her. Seok Hoon says that he understands why Min Woo would think he was behind all of it. He would too, if he were in Min Woo’s shoes. Min Woo starts to say that Seok Hoon is going to lie to the very end, but Seok Hoon interrupts him and asks if Min Woo ever considered that it may be his fault? Remember the day Seo Eun Ha fell into their pool. If only Min Woo wasn’t afraid of the water. Or drugged and collapsed on the ground from it. But Min Woo doesn’t focus on that. Instead he starts to look guilty, like it was possible for him to save Eun Ha.
Seok Hoon talk-whispers that Eun Ha wouldn't have died like that. If you hadn't just sat there, doing nothing! Why is he yelling? Mi Yeon’s the one who sat by and did nothing. Eun Ha could have been saved. Min Woo starts to sputter and Seok Hoon tells him that if he wants to justify himself, go ahead. Just say that he was too scared to jump into the water! He adds that if Min Woo had jumped into the water a little sooner, Ji Sook could have been saved. Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe him! He’s the one who stranded Min Woo out in the lake in a boat, but it’s Min Woo’s fault that Ji Sook is ‘dead.’ Wow, he is one crafty manipulator.
Seok Hoon declares that that’s what Min Woo believes, too. That's why he has regrets. Min Woo grabs Seok Hoon by the collar and slammed him against the wall. Min Woo declares that he does have regrets. Not stopping Seok Hoon sooner. That's what he regrets. If anything happens to Byeon Ji Sook, he's going to expose everything he has on Seok Hoon. About everything Seok Hoon’s done. Everyone will find out about it. And why hasn’t Min Woo done this already? With Ji Sook gone, she won’t end up in jail.
Seok Hoon shoves Min Woo off him – and I’m wondering what’s up with this lighting. It’s shining down on Seok Hoon’s head but up on Min Woo’s chin. Weird. Seok Hoon tells him to go ahead. If he can. But Seok Hoon’s sure Min Woo won't be able to. Even if Byeon Ji Sook is gone, her family still remains.
Nurse brings Ji Sook some food. Ji Sook asks to make a phone call. She needs to find out whether her husband is alive or not. Nurse urges her to eat this first. Once Ji Sook recovers, she’ll find out eventually. Ji Sook runs out of the room. Loan Shark is there.
Ji Sook runs outside and down the road. She tries to wave down a truck. She starts to feel really weak. A van comes up behind her and it’s Loan Shark and Goon. They catch her and drag her off to the van. Flashback. Minion carries off Ji Sook after ripping off part of her dress.
Stepmom comes up to Seok Hoon (at Casa Choi) and asks how he’s feeling. She’s being nice. This is weird. Seok Hoon is confused by the question, too. Stepmom says that now that his past lover has disappeared, Seok Hoon must be heartbroken. He probably can't get any work done or eat anything. Seok Hoon responds that Eun Ha is missing. They don't even know if she's alive. Isn’t Stepmom worried at all about her? Stepmom says that she’s worried about Eun Ha, too. That's why she’s asking him. He nods and says he understands.
Stepmom asks what she needs to do to make Seok Hoon let Mi Yeon go. Stepmom says that she can't even remember the last time she saw Mi Yeon smile. I can. When she thought she was pregnant. She was smiling all over the place and that was only a few days ago in ‘Mask’ time. Stepmom says that after Mi Yeon got together with Seok Hoon, she only remembers Mi Yeon drinking. She offers him 10 percent of her share. Will he leave her then? Or how is 15 percent? Will 20 percent do it?
Indignant – like he’s hurt or something – Seok Hoon asks what he needs to do to get Stepmom to accept him as her son-in-law? Stepmom asks what he’s saying. Seok Hoon – his face a big angry frown – asks if it’s when he increases the company's sales by 20 percent? He starts to say something else but Stepmom stops him by saying his name. Seok Hoon says that he can't break up with Mi Yeon. Because he loves her. What is he playing at?
In the van, Loan Shark tells Ji Sook not to look at them like that. He’s not a bad guy. He saved her from drowning. She would be dead if it wasn't for him. Emotionless, she asks who's behind all if it? Is it Min Seok Hoon? Loan Shark says, with a chuckle, that he doesn’t know. Ji Sook asks where they’re going, since this isn’t the way back to the hospital. Loan Shark says that she’ll find out once she gets there. Ji Sook begs to make one phone call. She needs to know if Min Woo is alive or not. Loan Shark commands Goon to step on it.
They arrive and get out of the van. They’ve taken her to Mi Yeon. Really? What is she doing? Ji Sook asks if Mi Yeon is the one who saved her. She says that she is. So why is she letting Min Woo suffer, then? I’m mean, I’m happy that she finally felt her conscience and decided to save Ji Sook, but the whole letting Min Woo suffer. Not cool. Ji Sook starts to ask why Mi Yeon did it and Mi Yeon declares that Seok Hoon can't become a murderer because of someone as worthless as her. Wow. I am shaking my head. I have no words.
Mi Yeon declares that Ji Sook can't die. Ever. Ji Sook asks what Mi Yeon wants. Mi Yeon tells her that there's a flight going to Australia in a few hours. Ji Sook should get on it and leave. Mi Yeon says that she’ll send Min Woo and Ji Sook’s family over soon, too. Ji Sook can start a new life Kim Yoo Jin. Ji Sook asks how she can trust Mi Yeon. After what Mi Yeon did to her mom… Mi Yeon answers that this war will resume, if Ji Sook comes back. And there’s no way to predict who’s going to die this time. She says that everything will be resolved once Ji Sook leaves. This war will come to an end. But it won’t, because Seok Hoon isn’t going to stop until he gets his revenge.
Ji Sook asks to at least hear Min Woo's voice first. She won’t leave before she does. Mi Yeon pulls out her phone and lets Ji Sook call him. Unfortunately, Ji Sook gets a machine, because Mi Yeon had a maid steal Min Woo’s phone. Ji Sook says that Min Woo’s not picking up. She starts to call Chang Soo, but Mi Yeon takes the phone again, saying that the moment Ji Sook calls someone else, Seok Hoon will find out she’s alive. Seok Hoon believes Ji Sook’s dead right now. She tells Ji Sook to make a decision. Whether she’ll leave or die.
Min Woo is sitting on Ji Sook’s side of the bed, softly caressing the comforter where she would sleep. If only he hadn't passed out then, she would be lying there right now. If he had suggested that day that they shouldn't go to the villa... He corrects himself. No, in front of the courthouse, if he’d not held her back then... He looks at the photo album she put together. He thinks about how she memorized his face. Them being in bed and him telling her to call him every hour. The thought of it makes him realize he doesn’t know where his phone is.
Min Woo pulls the maids together and asks if they know where his phone is. BadMaid scurries up and says that she found it on a table today. He looks at it and wonders why it was turned off. When he starts it, he sees that Mi Yeon called. Maids leave. Mi Yeon walks up and Min Woo asks if she called him. She says that she did. When he asks why, she says that she was just worried about him. He asks if, by any chance, if Byeon Ji Sook... She stops him and tells him that if she hears anything, she’ll let him know. He knows very well that she’s not a weak person.
Seok Hoon is sitting at Casa Choi’s bar, drinking. Mi Yeon says that it’s been a while since she’s seen him drink like this. He looks at her and smiles bitterly. He starts to take another drink. It's probably because of Byeon Ji Sook. Right? He stops. Mi Yeon looks at him and asks if he really doesn’t know anything about this? About what happened to Byeon Ji Sook? Seok Hoon smiles bitterly at his shot glass and says that there's nothing he knows. What about her? She says that she knows. A lot about it. His head is bobbing, indicating that he’s drunk.
Seok Hoon asks what she knows about it? She replies that she knows everything. He looks at her, surprised. She says that if she tells everything she know to others... what will happen to him? Instead of Min Woo, Seok Hoon would be the one in agony. He's a man with strong pride. He's never the type to kneel. If others point at him and criticize him... she wonders if he could endure that pain. He starts to say something, but she looks at him. She says that she… has done a lot of things because of him. If he still won't look at her after all of this... then she won't be able to stand it. She's just going to die. Seok Hoon chuckles awkwardly and glances around to make sure that no one heard her. Why would she say something like that? Mi Yeon says that if she die, maybe then... he’ll finally look at her. She takes a drink and sighs.
Breakfast. Min Woo is absent from the table. Seok Hoon is on the phone. When he gets off, he says that they caught the person who started the fire at the villa. The guy has a past record as an arsonist, so they're looking into his motives. What patsy did they get to do that? Mi Yeon looks at Seok Hoon and says that whatever his motives may have been, he probably understands the magnitude of his crime. Seok Hoon nods and says that he’s sure. Someone almost died from it. He says that they’re investigating to see if there were any accomplices. They all should hope that there wasn't one.
Dad asks if they still couldn't find Eun Ha. Seok Hoon says that if she was swept away by the waves, her chances of survival are very low. Stepmom says that once Eun Ha’s parents find out, they'll be livid. Not worried, upset, but livid, angry. It's only a matter of time until they find out she has gone missing. Dad wonders if Min Woo really did something to Eun Ha? Butthead! He didn’t do anything before, when Eun Ha fell into the pool. Why would he do something now that he's in love with her? Your daughter is the one who left her to drown the first time. And she was at the villa the second time. Wouldn’t she be a better candidate? Dad declares that Min Woo has no reason to. Well, I’m surprised that Dad is taking Min Woo’s side.
Seok Hoon says that he heard from Mi Yeon that Min Woo used to sleepwalk when he was younger. Dad declares that that was when Min Woo was young! Seok Hoon says that he’s worried that the police will hold that against Min Woo. Dad asks where Min Woo is.
Min Woo is in his room, on the phone. So Min Seok Hoon has bribed the arsonist? And he confessed everything to the police? He tells Hyung to make sure that arsonist testifies in court. And… if he finds anything on Ji Sook, to please call me. He hangs up and Chang Soo hurries in, declaring that there's a situation.
Reporter declares that the police suspect that Min Woo murdered his wife by a lake hile they were on a family trip. Mr. Choi's wife has currently gone missing and the suspect is denying his charges. EHDad is listening to the report and is not happy. What happened? Eun Ha went missing? He tells his secretary to find her. Find her no matter what! Contact the chief commissioner or whoever. They have to find her. She is still alive. She is not dead! If by any chance Min Woo is responsible, he won't let this go.
Papa is looking at a newspaper with Ji Hyuk and worries that Ji Sook is okay. Ji Hyuk assures him that she is. She already told them about her plan. Papa shouldn’t worry. If they stay hiding here like she said, she will come back to them. Papa tries to convince himself that it will be okay. Ji Hyuk says that Noona was stubborn, but she always kept her promise.
Ji Sook is with Loan Shark and Good. She’s offered them a lot of money to let her go. She says that she will give them everything she has. Loan Shark points out that, after donating most of her money, she doesn't have much left. Plus, that's not how he does business. If he gets Ji Sook’s money, he’d have to give Mi Yeon her money back. Would Ji Sook be responsible? What? Loan Shark is ‘honorable’ now?
Ji Sook asks to make one phone call. Loan Shark almost does it but then decides not to. If she talks to Choi Min Woo and finds out that he's been framed... No way. Ji Sook wants to know what he means. Loan Shark acts like he’s horrified that he said something he shouldn’t. She begs him to explain. Goon suggests, since the cat’s out of the bag, that they tell the truth and get more money? Another Goon arrives. Loan Shark is distracted and Ji Sook is able to snatch his phone and run. She’s able to evade them, but Loan Shark’s phone is locked.
Cops arrive at Casa Choi. They says that according to the results of the DNA test, the blood on Min Woo’s clothes and that on the rocks at the river both match with that of Seo Eun Ha. Why wouldn’t he have blood on his clothes after he *carried her out of a burning building*? They place Min Woo under arrest. Seok Hoon says that he’s an attorney and will go, but Min Woo says that he doesn't need an attorney. He will handle it himself.
Cop goes to cuff Min Woo and Mi Yeon objects. Do they have to do that inside her home? Mi Yeon tells Min Woo that he didn't do this. He also knows that, right? She will clear the charges, no matter what it takes. Just hang in there, okay? Dad growls that if he didn't do it, there’s no need to worry. Just hang in there. Stepmom also tells him not to worry.
Ji Sook is finally able to unlock the phone and calls Min Woo. He doesn’t answer it at first. Loan Shark spots Ji Sook so she has to run. She drops the phone. Min Woo answers the call and hears Loan Shark yell at his goons to get her. He tells Cop that Ji Sook just called him. He tells Cop to track down this number and send the police there, please. Cop smiles and says that Min Woo what the DNA result was. It was blood. Not a lot of it. Just blood. It’s not a smoking gun. He’s not going to do it. Cop yells at Min Woo to get moving. Min Woo replies that Ji Sook’s still alive. He shoves Cop at the other two cops and runs out of the house.
Car chase. Where is he driving to? Min Woo calls Chang Soo to track down the location of the number that just called. Byeon Ji Sook is alive. Even though the police are chasing him, because he knows that Ji Sook is alive, he isn’t going to stop. Min Woo lucks out that a dump truck pours gravel and impedes the police from following him.
Lackey tells Seok Hoon that there is an article that Choi Min Woo got away during his arrest. Public opinion isn't working for them. He murdered his wife and had a history of psychiatric treatments. People are not happy that the company could be inherited to him. Seok Hoon revels in the turn of events. What's going on with the stock? It's continuously going down. They’ve already lost one trillion won. Dang! Seok Hoon declares that it’s only temporary. The stock will go up again by tomorrow. He orders Lackey to buy more stocks on the cheap now. It's a chance to increase their shares. Buy them with all the money he can get.
Loan Shark reports to Mi Yeon that he’s lost Ji Sook. Mi Yeon tells him to find her no matter what. Unless he wants to refund her money, find Ji Sook now!
Chang Soo calls Min Woo and tells him that he was able to tracked down the number, but couldn't get the exact location. It was near Yong Il rest stop off Route 38 in Gyunggi do. And luckily he’s driving in the right direction, since he didn’t just turn around.
Ji Sook is walking down the side of the road. Staggering, more. Min Woo spots her. Of all the luck. He gets out of the car and they look at each other. Then he runs to her and embraces her. She hugs him like she can’t believe he’s there. Emotional music plays. After a moment, he lets go and looks at her. Instead of them getting in the car and leaving – he says that he knew she was alive. Is she okay? Is she hurt? Why is she there alone in a place like this? She asks if he’s okay. Does he know how worried she was to think something happened to him? He hugs her again and says that it's good. It's all good now. It took him so long. Sorry about that. She says that she was wrong. It's all because of her. He was worried, wasn’t he? She apologizes as she starts to cry.
She pulls out of the hug and asks him what it means that he was framed? While she was gone, did something happen? He nods and – instead of saying that he was framed for murdering her – says that he will handle it himself, so she doesn't need to worry. Ji Sook says that they should just go to the police. She will tell them what Seok Hoon and she did. Min Woo doesn’t want her to, but she says that she will pay for what she did. He tells not to do it today. She’s not in good shape. She starts to protest, but he tells her to forget about everything and think about only them for today. They should be happy for one day.
EHDad has gone to Casa Choi. Dad tells him to calm down. EHDad asks how he can possibly calm down?! Where is Min Woo now? Dad should know that, shouldn't he?! Stepmom says that they both don't know where he is. Min Woo got away outside their house. EHDad asks if they’re hiding something now? If something happened to Eun Ha, he will never let it go. Even if Min Woo’s their son, EHDad won't forgive him.
As EHDad walks by, Mi Yeon says that she’s sorry. She’s very sorry about what happened. EHDad is Mi Yeon knows something. What is it that you know? She replies that her sister-in-law will come back soon. In her head she thinks that his daughter won't come back though. She will not. EHDad leaves.
Min Woo arrives at a country house. Ji Sook asks where the place is. He replies that it's where no one is around and they’re alone. He takes her hand. They go inside. They sit in the living room and he notices her bloody leg. She tells him that she’s okay. He starts to get some medicine, but she grabs his hand, asking that he please doesn’t go. She doesn't want to be alone. Instead he goes and gets a clean white towel. He asks why she has stuff on her clothes? He starts to wipe off her pajamas. He notices her knee again and says that he has some medicine in his car. She can wait just a second, can't she? She smiles and tells him to hurry.
He goes and climbs into the passenger seat. He opens the glove compartment. Where a first aid kit just happens to be stored. Because everyone keeps a huge first aid kit in the glove compartment. He gets pensive for a moment. Ji Sook looks at herself in the mirror and tries to make herself look more presentable.
Min Woo returns with the first aid kit. And for some reason, while he was out at the car, he wasn’t wearing his coat. But now that he’s back in the house, he’s wearing it again. He carefully pulls up her pant leg to reveal her bloody knee. He starts to apply medicine and tells her to say if it hurts. She smiles and says that she always puts him through all this trouble. She’s such a bad wife, huh? He exhales and says that if she knows, then don't do that. When she’s alone, she falls down and hurts herself. What would she do without him? Why would she want to leave him? And the real meat of things comes out. He’s ticked that she left him out of the plan and planned on leaving him behind, even for a little bit.
Ji Sook brightly says that they will just stay apart temporarily. He doesn’t look at her. Because he is not okay with that. He says that she’ll just leave her wound alone unless someone takes care of it. He puts a bandage on her knee. And still won’t look at her. Again brightly, Ji Sook says that she will take care of herself so as to not make him worry about her then. She promises him. He pulls down her pant leg. He asks if she’s really okay? She declares that, of course she is. She's very tough. She has no choice to get her name back. Min Woo looks down again and says that he's sorry that he couldn't be a better husband to her. She reaches up and strokes his head. She smiles and tells him that he’s already a very good husband to her. He looks up at her and she smiles at him.
Mi Yeon is drinking again. Stepmom asks if Seok Hoon did something again? Mi Yeon says that she’s feeling troubled. Her life is tough. And everything else. She thinks back to that conversation at the villa, where Ji Sook tells her that she and Seok Hoon will be found out eventually. She will live in fear of getting caught until then. Mi Yeon takes another drink and says that everybody will learn the truth anyways. The truth will come out at the end.
Stepmom asks what she’s talking about? Mi Yeon says that she will tell Stepmom all her secrets. Can Stepmom keep her secrets then? Stepmom says that she will. She mentions about Eun Ha’s look alike, Byeon Ji Sook. So? That Byeon Ji Sook is my sister-in-law now. Seo Eun Ha is dead. And the person who is behind all that is... Seok Hoon. Stepmom asks what Mi Yeon is talking about. She replies that she has evidence. If Stepmom can't believe her, she should see it herself.
Stepmom looks at the NFS report that confirm that her daughter-in-law is Byeon Ji Sook. Seok Hoon enters. Stepmom asks how he could do it? He asks what she means. She doesn’t answer but leave the room.
Mi Yeon staggers up the stairs. She stumbles and almost tumbles over the rails, but Seok Hoon grabs her. He asks if she’s okay. She answers that she’s not sure. But she should be okay. He asks what she told Stepmom. Stepmom was reading some documents in their room and got mad at him. Mi Yeon pushes his hands away and tells him to ask Stepmom. She might answer his question kindly. He makes a face. She tells him that they should turn themselves in. When he replies with “What?” she says that she made a promise to Min Woo that she would make him turn himself in. If he does, she will do the same.
Seok Hoon asks why he would turn himself in, when he didn't do anything wrong. Mi Yeon can’t believe that he just said that. He did nothing wrong? Should she tell him what he did wrong? He tells her that she’s drunk and tries to get her to go back to their room. She replies that she isn’t drunk any more. Eun Ha was right. She's the one who made him this way. She's covered her eyes and ears for him all these years. That's why he's become this way.
She tells him that they can't live like this any more. They will pay for the crimes they’ve committed. They will start a new life. She smiles, hoping. He replies that they can't possibly pay for the crimes they committed. How can they possibly? A tear rolls down Mi Yeon’s cheek.
Bedroom. Candle light. Ji Sook says that tonight might be their final night to spend with each other. Min Woo asks if she really has to go? Can she not go? She replies that he knows that she has to go. He sighs and says that if they tell everything, they may have to break up. She smiles and says that she’s coming back though. They will see each other again. He smiles softly at her. Then he reaches up and traces her face with his fingertips. Smiling, he says that he will remember her face. He asks if they can be happy again? She smiles and says that of course they can. They deserve to be happy. He leans forward and kisses her. For a long time. Is there the implication that they’re finally going to sleep together?
Thoughts
So, in the next to last episode, Min Woo is framed for Ji Sook’s murder and Mi Yeon finally decides that she can’t continue on this way. She begs Seok Hoon to turn himself in, but he doesn’t want to. And Stepmom knows about everything. The only one still in the dark is Dad.
It’s interesting how frantic and upset EHDad was when he thought that his daughter was in danger, but how when she wasn’t, he couldn’t give her the time of day. I wonder how he’s going to react when the truth comes out.
And why exactly *does* the truth need to come out? Why can’t Ji Sook stay as Eun Ha indefinitely? Yes, Eun Ha’s parents need to know that their real daughter is dead, but that would be for the dead daughter’s sake, rather than their own. They’ll be much happier thinking that their daughter is still alive and well and not dead somewhere. And it’s not like they’re around very much, so having Papa and Ji Hyuk be a part of her life wouldn’t really be a problem. I just don’t get why she has to tell the whole world, when really, it just matters to the people who know her.
Except for that pesky problem of making Mi Yeon and Seok Hoon pay for their crimes. How is she planning on that? And will she eventually forgive Min Woo’s Noona?
I’m left wondering how they’re going to tie all this up in one hour. And what about Oma’s death? Are they just going to leave that mystery hanging? And why exactly is Seok Hoon doing all this? And has he started to feel some affection for his wife? Is there still some humanity left in there? Man, why is there only one hour left?
