Woman appears carrying a cake. Wife wrenches herself free, knocking husband to the floor, runs over and shoves the cake in the Woman’s face. I so think that this is going to be a misunderstanding. Why would Woman be carrying a cake if Husband was there for a rendezvous with her? Woman screams. Cheok Hee is taking plenty of pictures. Wife goes to attack Husband, but he shoves her away, asking why Wife is like this. Then he gets tissues for Woman to wipe the cake off her face, asking if she’s okay. To crazy scorned wife, that would look like Woman is the mistress. To me, it looks like she’s completely innocent, possibly hired by Husband to encourage Wife, and he doesn’t want Woman to charge him extra money or sue him because of crazy Wife.
As Wife cries, Husband screams at her, “What are you doing?” Mom asks her son-in-law how he can do this! Even though she didn't like his family background, his lack of skills or his looks, Mom let him marry her daughter because she thought he wouldn't be the type to cheat! How could he do this?! And Cheok Hee is taking tons of photos. Husband is confused by what Mom is saying. Cheat?
Jung Woo arrives, out of breath. Wife calls him ‘Lawyer.’ He quickly bow respectfully. Husband can’t believe that Wife hired a lawyer. Jung Woo spots Cheok Hee and point accusingly at her. She knows what he’s not saying and now looks regretful. Wife is sputtering about wanting a divorce. Husband walks over and grabs Wife’s arm, demanding to know if she came there to get a divorce. I’m not happy that he’s man-handled her, but she is a little hysterical and violent right now.
They start grabbing and screaming at each other. Jung Woo shoves them apart. Woman is ready to leave. She gives him the bill for everything: Balloons are 25,000; roses are 30,000; cake, wine and for making her come in person, the total is 159,000. He quickly pays and gives her the rest for dry cleaning. She tells him that she’s been an event planner for the last five years and this is by far the worst! Cheok Hee puts her hand over her mouth as she realizes that she’s made a BIG mistake.
Husband turns to Wife and asks her if she knows what day it is. It’s their wedding anniversary. Mom’s turn to put her hand to her mouth in shock. Oops. Wife sputters. Husband tells her that while he was preparing an event for her, she was preparing for a divorce. Then he chastises Mom for being a two-faced Mother-in-law, who always told him that he was the best son-in-law, but inside, she was dissing him for being an incompetent son-in-law. Husband tells them that if they really want this divorce, then let's do it. He declares that he’s lost all affection now, so he doesn't want to see Wife either. He storms out, saying, “Good riddance!” Wife sinks to the floor in shock and starts to cry.
Jung Woo tells Mom to take Wife home. Then he turns his attention to Cheok Hee, telling her to come see him for a bit. He drags her out of the hotel room and down the hall. A very narrow hallway, too, but nice wallpaper. With her back against the wall, he holds her there and leans in. Gulp! He says that he’s not going to stand back. Cheok Hee is understandably uncomfortably. He tells her to listen carefully. If she does this sort of action to push for a divorce without consulting him first ever again, then he really will not stand still. Relatively meekly for her, Cheok Hee protests that she wasn't pushing for it-
Jung Woo interrupts her again. Another thing. When she leaves, Cheok Hee can do whatever she wants but while they’re working together, they need to clarify their titles. He’s Lawyer So. She’s Office Manager Go. Annoyed, she looks away. He pushes her chin so that she’s looking at him again and says that informal speech is forbidden. “Hey,” “you,” “you over there,” and “you over here” are all absolutely forbidden. Does she have any objections? She shakes her head, ‘No.’
[Episode 3: If ill-fated relationships connect twice, then
it's fate.]
Cheok Hee has now gone to Min Kyu’s house. She chugs down a glass of water and clunks it on the table. She is angry. She calls Jung Woo ‘that rude bastard.’ Of course, she told them to go to the motel, but what woman wouldn't want to confirm whether or not her husband is cheating? Like Jung Woo is completely ridiculous in his reaction. Min Kyu looks at her – stifling a smile – and asks if she got scolded by Jung Woo. He laughs when she grunts in frustration as her answer.
Min Kyu’s phone rings. He pretty much rolls his eyes before he answers the phone. Donning his best indifferent face, Min Kyu answers (purposely), calling the caller by the wrong name (Yoo Jung instead of Ha Jung). He asks how the weather in Rome is – to be corrected that she’s in Milan. Ha Jung reports that younger sister-in-law is getting married? Isn't she already married? Oh, there are two younger sister-in-laws. Like he didn’t already know all this. He agrees that, of course, he should come. He tells her that, even if she loves music, she shouldn't wear herself out with her studies. To be corrected that Ha Jung is studying art. He curses himself for forgetting that one. He wishes Ha Jung well and hangs up the phone with an annoyed shake of his head.
Cheok Hee asks what that phone conversation was about. Didn’t Cheok Hee know? He got engaged last year and he’s getting married this year. Cheok Hee can’t believe that he’s engaged and he doesn’t even know the name of the woman he’s marrying. Min Kyu says her name strongly, like he’s giving her a correction for speaking out of turn. She takes it as such. Much more softly, he adds that her name is such a great name. What kind of name is Ha Jung? Ha Jung is so lame and confusing. He tsks in annoyance. She laughs in disbelief at him. He asks what she’s doing the next day and suggests they go out and eat.
Now Cheok Hee and Min Kyu are out at a reception hall. And there’s a bronze statue of two voluptuous, naked women walking in the reception area. Why would you have a statue of that? It’s just a weird statue. I mean, it’s like they’re frolicking. And there’s nothing wrong with frolicking, it’s just weird. Min Kyu is looking at the list of wedding receptions, trying to find his future sister-in-law’s reception. Cheok Hee asks how he doesn’t know the woman’s name. He glances in her direction and then ignores the question. Instead he comments on how all the brides' last names are Lee. Lee Hyo Min. Is she it? Lee Eun Joo. He spots it: The Ma family. Because Lee and Ma are so alike. Wow. He must have been ‘forced’ to get engaged to this family, if he’s this indifferent to things.
A voice asks who it is with Min Kyu, not pleased. They turn around and it is Aunt – the one who pelted Cheok Hee with the flowers when Cheok Hee visited her brother, Dong Goo’s, grave. How would you *really* not notice this, Min Kyu? Or is this some sort of plan to get Cheok Hee forgiveness? Maybe I’m giving him too much credit, but he can’t be this much of a space cadet and still be that successful. Aunt asks why Cheok Hee is there.
Min Kyu ‘realizes’ that Aunt is Ha Jung's aunt. On her paternal side, right? Aunt corrects that she’s the Aunt on Ha Jung’s maternal side. Aunt repeats her question: why is Cheok Hee there? Cheok Hee looks really uncomfortable. Min Kyu replies that Cheok Hee is a worker at his company. Cheok Hee respectfully bows her greeting. Aunt can’t believe it and says that she’ll tell Lawyer Bong nicely, so he should listen carefully. Min Kyu’s up for that. Aunt declares that Min Kyu should fire Cheok Hee. Min Kyu replies that he doesn’t think that Aunt’s choice of words were that nice. And I have to laugh at that one.
Still boring holes in Cheok Hee’s head with her angry glare, Aunt declares that if she had a cup of water, she would have thrown it in Cheok Hee’s face and if there weren't people around, she would have slapped Cheok Hee, so that was extremely well-mannered. Aunt hopes that Lawyer Bong will execute the firing as nicely as possible. Then Aunt walks off.
Cheok Hee looks at Min Kyu, shocked. Sunbae's future wife is CEO Ma Dong Goo's niece? He answers that it seems so. Then, more serious, he reminds her who his father is. If he didn't agree to marry someone in DK, he would have never been able to get out of the Bong Family (BF) business. Cheok Hee groans. Min Kyu tells her not to worry about it. Ha Jung is a niece but she and Aunt only see each other during stockholder's meetings. Aunt, when they saw her just a moment ago, was looking for her niece's name, too. Cheok Hee sighs, with partial disbelief, She tells him to go in. It seems best that she leaves first.
As Cheok Hee walks down the hall, there’s a banner: “Queen of Cannes. Han Mi Ri.” Oh, great. First the Aunt and now the cause of her downfall. Thanks, Min Kyu. Cheok Hee considers for a moment and then goes inside the meeting hall. Mi Ri is saying:
As many of you already know, it took a very long time for me to reach where I am now. There were many instances when I wanted to quit. I will think that this trophy is not for my acting, but for my life, for not giving up through the hardships and for standing back up to fight on. I want to think that way.
And I want to barf. This woman is soul-less. And a fame whore. Cheok Hee chooses to laugh, scoffingly. Mi Ri notices her and has her manager give her a few minutes. When they step aside, Mi Ri says that it’s been a while and then corrects herself when she ‘accidentally’ calls Cheok Hee, ‘Lawyer Go.’ Cheok Hee tells her that her award came a little late. Her acting was pretty great even three years ago. Shameless and smiling, Mi Ri replies that she got better, thanks to Cheok Hee. Cheok Hee replies that Mi Ri must have forgotten what kind of person she is, seeing as she can joke at will.
Cheok Hee says the future headline: “Queen of Cannes, Han Mi Ri bribed her husband's secretary and drove him to his death.” With one word from Cheok Hee, it'll only take a few seconds for all the journalists to come here. Mi Ri smiles and says that she knows that Cheok Hee isn’t the type of person to be able to do that. She doesn’t have the guts. If Cheok Hee could have revealed her client's confidences, she would have done it three years ago. Then she wouldn't have been disbarred, either. Unexpectedly, Cheok Hee is a true lawyer.
Cheok Hee replies that Mi Ri is right about that. She wants able to do anything because she was hiding. But, this time, she’s going to dig in deep until the end, into the whole story of Han Mi Ri case. As Mi Ri knows, ‘unexpectedly,’ Cheok Hee is a lawyer. Mi Ri scoffs. Cheok Hee is going to protect attorney-client privilege but reveal the truth? Mi Ri laughs out loud. Why does it sound like Cheok Hee’s going to dig without a shovel?
Manager comes to get Mi Ri, since the reporters have been waiting for a while. Mi Ri dares Cheok Hee to do it. She looks forward to it. If Cheok Hee does well, it'll be more entertaining than Mi Ri’s movie. Cheok Hee just watches her go. I would have grabbed her by her hair and shoved her on the ground and then started pounding on her. In my head, of course, because that kind of violence doesn’t solve anything.
Country Club. Soo Ah is there with Min Kyu. We catch them in mid-conversation, with Min Kyu shushing her because his horse, Ok San, is very sensitive. He asks her if she had a CCTV installed in his office. Otherwise, how did she know that Go Cheok Hee is working for him? She replies that she heard it from Jung Woo. She asks him why he’s walking rather than riding on his horse. He replies that he can't ride. His back is bad. Soo Ah laughs and asks why he bought it then. And that horse really doesn’t like the bit in his mouth right now. Min Kyu replies that he didn't buy it because he needed one. He just buys things that other people have. Wow, I wish I had that much money to burn.
Min Kyu tells Soo Ah to just go, if she’s going to pick fights with him. Soo Ah asks why he hired Cheok Hee in particular. Min Kyu stops his horse and says that it's a perfect chance to blow his nose without using his hands. So Jung Woo, whom you she recommended, is busy sending away people. Soo Ah makes a face. Min Kyu adds that the only person who worries about the firm is Cheok Hee.
Soo Ah declares that she will introduce him to someone who is better than Cheok Hee. Min Kyu wonders why a bird is getting excited when a monkey and a dog are fighting? He turns and rubs his horse’s neck and croons at her. Soo Ah declares that it's not good for So Jung Woo and Go Cheok Hee to be working together. Min Kyu replies that he thinks that it is helpful and the tension is good, too. Are you referring to their chemistry, Min Kyu?
Jung Woo and Cheok Hee have met Husband at a coffee shop. Jung Woo loosens his tie as he tells Husband that he fully understands why Husband is upset. Almost pleading, he says that Wife didn’t mean it. Husband replies that from what he understands, Wife was secretly thinking about divorce every day as they slept together under the same blanket. Husband declares that he can't live any longer with a woman who stabbed him in the back.
Cheok Hee pulls out the Divorce Contract and tells Husband to sign. As Cheok Hee explains that it’s the divorce papers, Jung Woo silently curses her name. Cheok Hee ignores him, so Jung Woo punches the air under the table in frustration. Cheok Hee declares that since they are also responsible for what has happened, if Husband signs it within thirty seconds, they will help him without any fee. She pulls out her pen. Husband laughs with disbelief, looks up at the ceiling, then takes the pen and looks at the contract. Cheok Hee is timing him. He takes too long, so she takes back the contract and rips it up. Then she elbows Jung Woo in the side meaningfully.
Jung Woo blinks at her. And I am wondering why she just did that but he figures it out. He tells Husband that Wife hesitated, just like he did. He smiles and start laughing with relief. Husband doesn’t know what to think. Jung Woo declares that Wife came to them by mistake. What they need right now is not a divorce lawyer but a couple therapist. He gives Husband’s arm a little squeeze of encouragement.
Afterward, Jung Woo and Cheok Hee are walking back from the coffee shop. He asked how she knew that Husband wasn’t going to sign. She replies that the first trick she learned when she started as a divorce attorney is quickly separating the grain from the chaff. You have to quickly send back people who don't want divorce, so that you can make room for the people who actually want a divorce. Jung Woo nods, understanding.
Soo Ah is helping Mom clean up her restaurant. Mom clucks at Soo Ah to go home! She walks over to where Soo Ah is wiping and declares that if Soo Ah’s your mother finds out that Mom’s making her work with rags, she will get mad. In the background a news report plays.
News Report on a bombing in the Seoul Metropolitan Subway station in 2008, which took 42 precious lives. The report uses the word ‘precious.’ Footage of the explosion and the charred metro car. And I bet this is the accident that Jung Woo was involved in. Mom sighs and says that they have been showing that picture for seven years. Every time they're about to forget about it, it’s shown on the news. That's why Jung Woo can't get over it. Mom shuts off the TV.
Soo Ah asks if Mom thinks that person is really dead. Mom replies that if they couldn't find her in 7 years, then what is she, if not dead? So, it was a girl. That explains the smell. And Soo Ah has lied him all this time, even when he liked someone else. I hate it when women do that! Soo Ah wonders if she should try to find out.
Wife and her Mom are meeting with Jung Woo. Wife asks Jung Woo to help her get a divorce. Jung Woo chokes on his tea. He thought things were going so well. Mom sighs because Wife still wants to do it. Wife adds that it’s for her Mom. Mom is shocked. Wife explains that even after she despised Husband and hated him, when she thought about him cheating on her, her heart shook and collapsed. How must have Mom felt, who had to live like that for thirty-five years?
Wife tells Mom that she can take side dishes to Dad, so Mom should at least live the rest of her life comfortably. Wife gestures to the notebook, saying that when she looked through it again, she had a lot of thoughts. It wasn't that she hated Husband. She must have hated him because she only wanted to see his faults. If she looks at him with more love, wouldn't he look more loveable? With a smile, she declares that they’ve decided to go to couple therapy starting next week. Jung Woo smiles, understanding and happy that Wife and Husband worked it out.
Yoo Mi is eavesdropping. She tells the others that Wife’s mother is getting a divorce. Cheok Hee nods and declares that they got one. Abeoji arrives, asking where their Lawyer Go went? Oops. She tries to hurry him outside, as he protests. Out by the elevators, Cheok Hee asks why he came all the way there. He starts to hit her with the flowers he’s carrying. When she protests that he’s trying to kill her, he replies that she should die. When she still doesn’t get it, he says a date: April 20. Cheok Hee is horrified that she forgot. And I saw this one coming. Both Cheok Hee and Jung Woo lost someone in the subway bombing.
Jung Woo appears, escorting Wife and Mother out as Cheok Hee stands there with her hand over her mouth. Abeoji glares at Cheok Hee. After Wife and Mother have left in the elevator, Jung Woo comes over, bows to Abeoji and asks what Cheok Hee is doing out in the hall. And I like the authoritative tone Jung Woo has in his voice. Abeoji mutters to Cheok Hee, asking who this guy is. Cheok Hee explains to her *Abeoji* that this is So Jung Woo, who works in their firm. Jung Woo catches the ‘Appa.’ He immediately bows really low for Abeoji and doesn’t meet Abeoji’s eyes, but instead straightens his ties and jacket.
Abeoji recognizes that it’s that Mr. So. Another questioning look from Jung Woo. She’s been talking about me? What’s she been saying? Abeoji declares that he’s heard a lot about Jung Woo. Isn’t her the Mr. So, who works under his daughter, right? Cheok Hee cringes because she’s about to be busted. Jung Woo pauses and tries to think of how to explain. And isn’t trying to bust her, because he’s a nice guy. Cheok Hee laughs loudly to stop Jung Woo and declares that Jung Woo used to follow her around at her previous firm aand he even followed her to the new one. She laughs again and asks Jung Woo if that isn’t right.
Jung Woo sits there and laughs, because he doesn’t know how he should respond. He doesn’t want to bust her, but she’s just insulted him again. He wonders how he should explain this to Abeonim. Jung Woo reaches over and pushes the down button and then laughs and looks meaningfully at Cheok Hee. Abeoji reaches over and takes Jung Woo’s hand. Abeoji says that it must be difficult for him. Jung Woo, of course, shakes his head ‘no’ to that idea. Abeoji declares that he’s raised thousands of eels while he sold fish at the market and he's never seen one that moves as violently as her temper. I am laughing.
Jung Woo nods at Cheok Hee, with a face that reads that this is not a surprise and he’s not crazy for having this problem with her. He nods and pleasantly agrees with Abeoji. Abeoji declares that what you amass in this life, you will get back in the next one. And who knows? In Jung Woo’s next life, he might be reborn as a lawyer and order this kind of wrench around. Jung Woo acts surprised that he would ever be blessed in such a fashion and continues to smile widely and pleasantly at Abeoji. Cheok Hee can’t believe that this conversation is happening.
Cheok Hee tells Abeoji to go to her house. She’ll go right there after she’s done. Jung Woo declares that he’ll get a taxi for Abeoji. Cheok Hee doesn’t want him to and tells him to go inside and do his work. Jung Woo makes it past her blocking arms and into the elevator. He declares that Lawyer Go's father came all this way. He must send Abeoji off well. Who knows? Maybe in the next life, he’ll be born as a lawyer. A bit of inside sarcasm with that last comment.
Abeoji gets in the taxi and Cheok Hee gives the driver her address: Seocho Villa, Apartment 701. Jung Woo wishes Abeoji a safe trip. Abeoji tells Jung Woo that they should meet again. Jung Woo pleasantly laughs and waves as the taxi drives away. To herself, Cheok Hee repeats the date. And here comes the wrath. Jung Woo points to himself and asks if she really just called him ‘Mr. So.’ She starts to acknowledge it, but then gives him a “Ya!” Which he told her not to do to him anymore. She declares that even if she did it, how can she tell Abeoji that her license has been suspended?
Jung Woo nods with faux understanding. That's right. No matter how embarrassed someone is, she shouldn't be embarrassed in front of her parents. Yes. Yes. Yes. Seaweed. She smiles and pats his arm, happy that he understands. He laughs – that fake laugh when you go along with something but are actually upset about it. Almost with glee, Jung Woo says that of course, he understands, oh so well. He laughs again. He had the experience a while back where he was covered in seaweed soup in front of his mother. Yes. Cheok Hee clears her throat uncomfortably because she gets the drift.
Secretaries and Kyung have gone out to eat. And, man!, it looks good. I want some. They’re puzzled because they thought she was rich and the guy she just called Abeoji was not. Kyung asks if they’re sure Cheok Hee called him 'Father'? Jung Sook is sure she heard correctly. But something smelled fishy. Yoo Mi decides that Abeoji is the who just cleans the fish tanks! My, but isn’t she clever.
Cheok Hee enters Jung Woo’s dark office and flips on the light. She’s replacing his newly-cleaned mug. She sees a brief on his desk: Complaint: Plaintiff: Hwang Geum Soon. Lead Lawyer: So Jung Woo. She decides to take a look. Because that’s what Office Managers should be doing. Looking at legal briefs. Not that I don’t think an office manager might do that, but not according to Cheok Hee’s definition of the duties and boundaries of responsibilities of an office manager. ‘Yes, Lawyer. I understand. I apologize.’
Cheok Hee arrives home. With a stick. Abeoji is thinking what I am. Abeoji asks what the stick is for. Cheok Hee says that it’s to beat her up. Until something gives out, he should beat her up as much as he wants to. Abeoji laughs and mutters that it’s a load of bullsh*t. He asks if Mi Hee has contacted Cheok Hee yet. Cheok Hee shakes her head, ‘no.’ Abeoji mutters that Mi Hee’s a wench. Abeoji tells her to make sure she comes home early that day. He heads to his (guest) room. Cheok Hee turns around and looks at Abeoji’s dirty shoes. She straightens them.
The next morning, Jung Woo arrives in his office. He opens his laptop and looks at his brief. Lots of red pen. He knows who did it and yells her name. She comes in and answers with an informal ‘yeah,’ but changes it to a formal ‘yes’ when she sees his face. He holds up the brief, smiling angrily. He asks if it was her. She sighs and declares that there was a lot to revise. Entering, she tells him that she took time out of her busy schedule to work on it, so he should use it as a reference.
Jung Woo asks Cheok Hee if she dared to lay a finger on a lawyer's written complaint without permission. She laughs and tells him that it was such mess that she had no choice but to do it. She grabs the complaint and flips it open. She starts reading from it. “He called her a crazy bitch.” How boring is that? “He verbally attacked her by calling her a crazy bitch.” How much more impactful is that change? She tells him that he shouldn't write a documentary but a novel. Just a few vocabulary changes and he has an exciting and dramatic complaint.
Cheok Hee points to another ‘problem.’ “The defendant was with another woman in front of the plaintiff." Even here. "In front of the plaintiff and their young children." Accentuating her words, Cheok Hee says that if you add in these "young children", he seems more despicable. Jung Woo starts to laugh in disbelief at her. Use "immoral behavior" instead of "rash behavior." "Showed obsession" to "psychologically unstable obsession." Jung Woo can’t believe what she’s saying. Psychologically unstable? Mom just wants a divorce, so Cheok Hee makes her husband of 30 years into a psycho?
Kyung has to interrupt. Their meeting is about to start since Min Kyu is there. Cheok Hee turns to Jung Woo and tells him that if he doesn't understand the job, why doesn't he receive a little bit of help from others instead of maintaining his pride? She saunters out. Kyung closes the office door behind her. Jung Woo looks like he wants to explode. He motions at the brief as he tries not to scream. Kyung looks and gasps. Did Chucky do this? Jung Woo looks at him and asks, “After people go through such a big hardship, shouldn't they change a little?”
Kyung asks Jung Woo if Nolbu can become Heungbu?
This refers to a Korean folktale about two brothers, one who was kind but poor and the other that was rich and greedy. In the story, Heungbu saves a swallow from being killed by a snake and fixes its hurt leg. In return, the swallow brings him a magic gourd seed which grows to bless Heungbu with wealth and prosperity. His greedy brother tries to get rich and repeat the situation with the swallow. Instead if being pity, Nolbu is the one who hurts the swallow and then heals it. The swallow also brough Nolbu a gourd seed, but it contained imps who beat Nolbu and debt collectors who took all his wealth and possessions. Nolbu fled to Heungbu’s house and Heungbu took pity on him. This caused Nolbu to reflect on his actions and become a very humble person.

Does Jung Woo think Chucky can become Elsa? Have no idea who Elsa is referring to. I really don’t think that it’s Elsa from ‘Frozen,’ but that’s the only Elsa I can think of. If that’s who he is talking about, it makes no sense because Chucky is a demon-possessed murderous doll and Elsa was a girl who was born with the ability to control snow and ice. Two different situations entirely. Kyung looks at the brief and asks who the lawyer is here while Jung Woo smacks his chest several times with his fist.
Kyung mentions bullfrogs and who they can mess up a lake's ecosystem. Before they break the food chain, they have to catch all of the bullfrogs! Jung Woo just sits there muttering ‘Aigoo!’ Where’s that confident Lawyer that was starting to emerge?
Apparently the meeting is about how to promote the firm:
- Phone consultations
- Street promotion
- Internet comment replies
- SNS account
Min Kyu gets a phone call. He tells Cheok Hee that because of her, he’s now committed a faux-pas. He answers his hand phone and apologizes. Is it the prime rib eye or the king crab that came? Min Kyu leaves.
Jung Sook sighs and gets on with things. She says that she will take care of the phone consultations. Next, who will take care of the street promotions? No one wants to do it. Jung Woo gets just a glint of mischief in his eye. He nominates Cheok Hee. She’s surprised. He has her stand and tells the others that they all know that, of all people, with her nerve (guts) as thick as rib eye steak, and this face as thick as a king crab, there isn't anybody else who would be better at street promotions than her. Kyung stifles a laugh. Kyung and Yoo Mi clap in agreement and Jung Sook assigns Cheok Hee to the promotions. Jung Woo smiles sweetly at her and she gives him the stink eye.
While handing out flyers, Cheok Hee spots another guy trying to promote a massage business. He says that they treat their customers as if they were their boyfriends. That’s not creepy. It gives her an idea. She asks the next man what style of divorce he wants? Wealth division, child support, or alimony? They treat their clients like their family. She bows deeply like the massage hawker and holds out a flyer. The man slaps her on the head and says that he already did. Is she trying to curse him? He stomps off, but not before Cheok Hee yells after him that once is difficult but twice is not! Then she curses Jung Woo for getting her into this.
Next day, she tries to butter up Kyung to get him to switch with her. He’s in charge of answering the SNS messages. He declares that he already finished. He seems to be enjoying his assignment. She spots Yoo Mi and tries to get her to switch answering internet comments. Yoo Mi doesn't want to. She tries to Tom Sawyer her (which means to trick her into doing it by buttering her up). Unfortunately Yoo Mi falls for it.
The switch is discovered when the firm’s banner is unfurled and instead of reading that they will treat clients like family, it says that they will treat clients like poop. (The syllables in family were split, making the word poop.) Cheok Hee starts to sputter and Yoo Mi quickly excuses herself. Cheok Hee stops her from leaving. Jung Woo asks if Cheok Hee needs a lesson on word spacing from him? With a red pen? Then he adds that if she doesn't understand the job, instead of maintaining her pride, she should think about accepting help from others.
Jung Woo turns to Min Kyu and asks him if he really thinks they need an office manager who can't even correctly space words out? Min Kyu hasn’t stopped looking at the banner. Suddenly he says, “Three! Now there are three people who have asked me to fire you.” Jung Woo is surprised and then tries to count how many people he knows of that have asked. He doesn’t know about Soo Ah. Cheok Hee looks at the other office workers, who avoid her eyes. She can’t believe that they’d do that to her. She laughs in disbelief and tells Min Kyu that he was kind enough to hire her. She doesn’t want to make Min Kyu look bad any further for doing it.
Jung Woo has started looking at the other employees. He actually didn’t think that he’d get rid of her and now he’s nervous. Cheok Hee says that she doesn't like the fact that the office is receiving more harm than good because of me. Yoo Mi asks if this means that Cheok Hee is quitting. Instead, Cheok Hee calls for a vote. If, the majority wants her to leave than to stay, then she will leave without saying anything. Kyung can’t hold back his glee. He asks, “really?” and gets the stink eye from Cheok Hee. Jung Woo leans backward and exchanges happy conspiratorial looks with Kyung.
Min Kyu asks if Cheok Hee will be okay if that happens. Cheok Hee says that, of course, she’ll be fine. Later, she gives her credit card to Kyung to take the office out for dinner, so that he can size up who is for or against her staying. Kyung asks if Cheok Hee can’t tell by looking. She answers that she can: Jung Woo, Yoo Mi and Jung Sook are against her staying. Min Kyu and him (Kyung) are for her staying. Kyung is surprised that she thinks he wants her to stay. She tells him that she raised his salary by 1,000,000 won and he’s not someone who would betray someone after that. Kyung cringes. So now, Kyung needs to figure out who the swing vote will be.
Restaurant. Yoo Mi is surprised that Cheok Hee has bought them meat. The waitress bring some ‘galbi’ but Jung Sook knows that it’s not. She points out that the meat is chuck tenders. Waitress tries to say that they don't deceive people about their meat. Jung Sook smiles and replies that she doesn’t get deceived about meat. She pulls out her National license as a Meat Inspector. She points out how the meat is most definitely chuck tenders because of the abundance of fascia and tendons and the waitress has to take it away. Jung Woo is impressed. Jung Sook replies that Min Kyu is such a gourmet eater that she has to know how to handle meat. Now, that’s a secretary!
Kyung brings up the vote and asks if everyone is against Cheok Hee. Jung Sook announces that she’s not going to vote against. Everyone is surprised, especially Yoo Mi. Jung Sook says that she’s voting for because Min Kyu wants her as the office manager.
Later, Kyung and Jung Woo are at a convenience store, drinking a beer. Kyung says that he was totally surprised. Jung Sook has served under Min Kyu since the BF days. Originally, she was a client who had filed for divorce, but after she got divorced and was kicked out into the street Min Kyu hired her to work under him. That's why if CEO Bong only says the word, she is completely loyal to him. Jung Woo points out that it’s still 2:3. Kyung still worried. Jung Woo wonders if Kyung might end up being the swing vote and he shoots down that idea.
Cheok Hee calls Kyung. He groans. Jung Woo tells him to answer. She wants a status update. Kyung tells her that it’s still 2:3. He refuses to say how everyone is voting. Cheok Hee is sure of Kyung’s vote (even though he’s planning on going the opposite way) and that Jung Sook is voting against her. Yoo Mi is simple so it might actually be easier to change her mind.
The next day, Cheok Hee has brought Jung Sook freesia (flowers). Jung Sook wants to know how Cheok Hee knew that she likes them. Cheok Hee says that a lovable woman will surely like this lovable freesia. And freesia means a sincere heart. Cheok Hee places her hand to her heart to illustrate her sincerity. Jung Sook pauses for a moment to sip the drink that Cheok Hee has brought her and then asks Cheok Hee to run to the supply store and buy some staples. Cheok Hee quickly and eagerly complies. Yoo Mi can’t believe that Cheok Hee is sucking up to Jung Sook like that.
While waiting for the light to change, Cheok Hee spies Jung Woo across the street. He obviously is having a nice day. Cheok Hee smiles to herself and then yells ‘So Byun!’ at him. Byun is short for Lawyer; so byun also means ‘urine.’ Jung Woo tries to play off her calling him urine like he doesn’t realize that she’s talking to him, but the woman standing next to him, tells him that she must be calling him, Mr. Urine. He denies it.
Cheok Hee keeps yelling “So Byun!” The light changes and he quickly runs across the street and puts his hand over her mouth. Is she crazy? She acts completely innocent/clueless. Why? He told her to call him that. He answers that he said to call him by his title. She rattles off similar situations: Lawyer Kim is "Kim Byun." Lawyer Lee is "Lee Byun." So Lawyer So is "So Byun." Did she say anything wrong? Jung Woo can only exhale and contain himself.
Later, Jung Woo brings her out about 2 reams of paper to shred. She asks if she might do it tomorrow, since today she has something to do. He replies by quoting her: “There are only two things that an employee needs to say to his boss. Yes, I understand. I'm sorry.” So, no. Jung Woo spots some more that she needs to shred. The shredder seems to be broken, so Jung Woo helpfully hands her some scissors.
Later, Jung Woo is looking at the photos of Wife’s father with his mistress. He looks up to spot Kyung working on the shredding. He asks Kyung what he’s doing and Kyung replies that he left work but then Cheok Hee called and told him to come back and finish it tonight. Jung Woo can’t believe that Cheok Hee passed off the work he gave her to someone else. It gives him a headache. Kyung tells Jung Woo that he’s become a bacteria at the bottom of the food chain. Below the bullfrog, below the water hyacinth, lower, lower, lower, the microorganism.
Jung Woo exhales loudly and tries to call Cheok Hee. He gets the recording that she’s not available. Kyung tells Jung Woo that he was a for believing that Jung Woo said he would take care of Go Cheok Hee. Jung Woo can’t believe her absolute disrespect of him: It wasn't enough to mark everything in red pen and push off her work, now she doesn't even answer her phone? What does she take a lawyer for? He remembers her address and decides to go and sort her out.
As he climbs out in front of Seocho Villa, Jung Woo mutters to himself, wondering who she really is. Because it’s a really *nice*, rich complex. For the father, eels. For the daughter, a luxurious villa. He arrives at her apartment and the door is open. “You're at home, yet you don't pick up your phone?” He yells her name and goes in. She’s in the kitchen and she’s wearing black. It must be Mom’s Death Day. It is, because Abeoji is also in a black suit. Jung Woo is surprised to see Abeoji.
Abeoji eagerly welcomes Jung Woo in, even as Cheok Hee asks why he’s there. Jung Woo sees that it’s Mom’s Death Day. Jung Woo apologizes to Abeoji and bow deeply. He tries to leave and Cheok Hee tells him to go, but Abeoji tells him to stay. Abeoji says that it’s better to have more company. He asks Cheok Hee whether, when her mother comes to eat, if there's a guy like this sitting there wouldn't Mother feel happy? Jung Woo awkwardly obliges.
Cheok Hee remembers back to 1999. Oma is very sick and in the hospital. It looks like liver failure from how jaundiced she is. Cheok Hee is caring for her. A big fat book – Civil Law Teaching Materials – is sitting at Oma’s bedside. Oma tells Cheok Hee to read it. Because that’s normal for all future lawyer to do, read a really dry, boring law book in their teens. My mom’s an attorney. Those books are not exciting or interesting. Oma asks her to read aloud some verse of the law. Cheok Hee agrees:
Section 779. The scope of family. The following people are lawfully considered your family. Spouse, blood relatives, brothers and sisters.
Starting to get a little choked up, Cheok Hee declares that she can’t read anymore. Oma asks to see. She starts to read: Section 913. Duty and right to protect and educate. A person with parental authority shall have the right and duty to protect and educate his or her child. Mom stops and hands Cheok Hee an money envelope. It’s enough for one year's worth of tuition. Cheok Hee looks at it. It the money that Abeoji sold his boat so that Oma could get treatment. Oma answers that there’s only a 32% chance of survival for her treatment, but there will be a 100% chance that she will be able to attend if she pays her tuition. Where is there an idiot that leaves 100% and chooses the 32%?
Cheok Hee protests that they aren’t the same. Oma tells her to take it and leave. Cheok Hee argues but Oma can’t bear the thought of Cheok Hee not going to college, whether Oma lives or dies. And the fact that the heavens sent Oma, a fishmonger, someone like Cheok Hee, then she’s received everything that the heavens had to give her. Cheok Hee still argues, but Oma points to Section 913: Didn't it even say in the law? Those with parental authority have the right and obligation to protect and educate their children. This isn't something Oma is giving Cheok Hee. The law and heaven are giving it to her.
Cheok Hee sits and cries alone and looks at the money envelope. She goes to the bank. After the teller is about to finish, Cheok Hee tries to get the money back, but she is interrupted by someone who is looking for her. It’s the hospital. When she gets there, Mi Hee slaps her. Abeoji is appalled that Mi Hee would hit her sister, but Mi Hee declares that she doesn't have a sister anymore. A bitch who sold her mom to go to college! Is that an older sister? A bitch who wants to be a lawyer at the cost of Mom's life! Is that an older sister? If Oma was about to kick the bucket, whether they paid the money or not, she still would have died, because she was too sick to survive.
Nurse calls for Oma. Cheok Hee begs Oma not to die. She declares that she was crazy. Oma tells her that it's good that she went crazy. She went crazy well. She begs Oma not to die, because of the guilt she would feel. Oma tells Cheok Hee that Cheok Hee being sorry toward her right now isn't repaying her. Cheok Hee is to repay it to other people by becoming a good lawyer.
And Oma passes. Tender music plays.
Back in the present, Abeoji and Jung Woo drink together. Abeoji mutter about how now Cheok Hee is trying to working to repay Mi Hee with money, as penance for taking away their mother away. Totally screwed up logic. Cheok Hee is in the kitchen. She comes out and tells Jung Woo he should go. But Abeoji doesn’t want him to leave without drinking some health tonic: seven eels, dong quai, cnidium, and some other leaves, boiled over a long time. Jung Woo is honored that Abeoji would give him such a precious thing and drinks it.
Cheok Hee escorts Jung Woo outside. When he’s clear of the building, he promptly throws up the eel tonic. Jung Woo declares that it’s like fish heads that were thrown into the sewer with vinegar and soy sauce poured into a jar and then ripened for about a year. That's how it tasted. Aw, he was so eager to drink it, for Abeoji’s sake. He is such a nice guy! Cheok Hee tells him that he shouldn’t have drunk it then. Jung Woo asks how he could refuse when an elder is offering it? He tells her to go inside.
Cheok Hee asks if Jung Woo fixed the petition. He replies that he has no intention of making the opponent a mental patient just to receive a few extra dollars. Cheok Hee tells him that he probably doesn't want to do so, but, mark her words, that the opponent will definitely make their client a mental patient. Jung Woo responds that alimony isn't decided over a word, but by evidence or lack of evidence. Cheok Hee replies that it might be what they teach at school, but this isn’t law school but the real world. He isn’t So Jung Woo, the student, but So Jung Woo, the lawyer. His opponent will be throwing sliders, curve balls, change ups interchangeably. But he should just go ahead and keep throwing fastballs by himself everyday. Then they’ll see who wins. If he loses, it's not only him that loses. It’s him and his client.
Walking home, that last point is ringing in Jung Woo’s ears. If he loses, it's not only him that loses. It's him and his client that lose together. He thinks of Mom holding up the pictures of the women who have been having affairs with her husband since 1980. Thirty five years worth of affairs. Tapes from all the times he cursed at me. Lists of all of the assets that he siphoned off of her. He pulls out the petition, reconsidering.
Soo Ah appears along with Mom (who announces that the family is all here). Mom turns them around and announces that they’re going to eat Ddeok Bok Gi (spicy rice cakes). Soo Ah is all in. Jung Woo groans about how he hears Mom complain all the time about being fat. She makes them go anyway.
A woman is lifted up the side of a building. She has a sledge hammer. She finally reaches the right floor. Her cheating husband, who is there drinking and kissing his mistress. They spot her and he hugs her close to him. Wife2 spots a really expensive diamond ring on Mistress’s finger. Wife2 yells that they should get a divorce and smashes the window.
Next we see of her, she’s sitting with Jung Woo and her daughter, in a consultation. They’ve both agreed to divorce and it's already been five years that we've lived apart. She doesn’t want anything from the man, she just wants to raise her daughter. Cheok Hee brings in some freshly prepared orange juice made with oranges from California. Jung Woo motions for Cheok Hee to get out, but instead Cheok Hee gives Wife2 her business card. Old habits dies really hard. Jung Woo suggests the girl wait outside, but Wife2 wants her to know what’s going on. Even though the girl is at most 12.
Girl holds up her left hand and tells Jung Woo that this is her father's fifth woman. Mom said that if Dad passed five times that she'd divorce. She declares that she’s okay. Wife2 leaves and daughter grabs the card.
Min Kyu is working out at the club. And they’re playing ‘Sugar’ by Maroon 5. That’s the second contemporary song I’ve heard! He ends up running in to Dad. Dad says that it’s strange that they meet at a place like this when they're family. Min Kyu responds, saying that this is why you shouldn't subscribe to year long memberships.
In the dressing room, Min Kyu notices that he and his father have the same type of polyester shirt. He asks Dad what he’s doing, since he’s a VIP at Don Varas. (Don Varas sounds like the Korean phrase for throwing your money away.) He gets invited to Paris Haute Couture and said that one should only buy clothes from a G7 country. Some random man wanders in and tells them that their couple look is so nice to see. Dad laughs. Min Kyu is not happy.
Dad asks about Min Kyu’s new firm. Did he hire employees? Min Kyu responds by asking if Dad is planning on stealing them from him. Cheok Hee calls. Min Kyu has a brief conversation and hangs up. He makes sure that Dad heard.
At work, Jung Woo gives Cheok Hee Mom’s petition to file. She is initially informal but corrects herself. She’s surprised that he’s asking her to do it now. He asks if she doesn’t know how to do it? Of course, she does. She looks over at Jung Sook and becomes super obliging. Once she’s at the courthouse, she calls Kyung to ask for help because she doesn’t know how to do it. Kyung is at the printers with Yoo Mi, getting the banner reprinted. He tells her to go to the first floor public service center and give them the documents. But before he makes sure that she’s got it, he has to call her back. She thinks it’s super easy and goes inside to submit the petition.
Dad is talking with another colleagues. Dad acts like everything is great between him and Min Kyu. Dad happens to see Cheok Hee and decides to find out why she’s at the courthouse. Cheok Hee goes and takes a number. Easy. Cheok Hee looks over the petition and is pleased that some of her suggestions have been put in the petition.
Min Kyu and Soo Ah are at an art gallery. Lost of plays on words with the artists’ names: Mo Chin Pae - which in Korean sounds like ‘beating up his mother’ Karl Abiziller - which sounds like ‘stabbing his father with knife’ Emil Saintmaijanc - which sounds like ‘burying his mother alive I bet the writers had fun coming up with those ones.
Soo Ah ‘casually’ asks if Cheok Hee is still the office manager. He tells her about the planned vote. Min Kyu wonders where Cheok Hee’s confidence is coming from. He stares at the splatter painting and wonder if he should buy it. It’s about 40 million. Soo Ah remarks that it’s expensive, and so it’s sold! When she questions him, he shrugs and says the cost is why it’s good. That man is going to blow through his money.
Kyung and Yoo Mi arrive back at the office with the new banner. Kyung’s surprised that Cheok Hee isn’t back. He tells Jung Woo that Cheok Hee called him earlier, asking how to file a petition. Jung Woo is concerned. Jung Sook worries that it’s going to turn out like the banner, causing a disgrace to the law firm. Kyung gets a little gleeful at that thought. Jung Woo hurries off to the courthouse.
Cheok Hee is sitting waiting her turn. Jung Woo sees her and says to himself, “Aigoo, aigoo... at least she looks like she knows what she's doing.” He’s smiling. He wonders if Cheok Hee will also hit the ball out of the park. Cheok Hee approaches the counter and hands the papers over. The clerk looks at them and hands them back, telling her that she didn’t include the receipt for the payment of stamp tax. Cheok Hee had no idea, so she pulls out her credit card and tells the clerk to charge it. Jung Woo groans and asks himself who he’s kidding. Cheok Hee didn't even put a stamp on them.
Jung Woo is about to go help when Mr. Bong approaches her. Jung Woo immediately stops, wondering why Bong is there. Cheok Hee is definitely uncomfortable but she recovers quickly. Bong asks her what a disbarred lawyer is doing at a court. Has she been sued? She replies that she got a job as an office manager. Bong is surprised she got a job. Did Min Kyu already tell Bong that he hired her? And is she just supposed to live a decimated life forever because she dared to outsmart you in court? Yes, she used illegally obtained evidence, but he didn’t know that when he started to squash her.
Cheok Hee tells him that during her time off, she repented of disrespecting the law. With this chance, she wants to become a true legal professional, by learning all about the law from the bottom to the top. Isn’t being disbarred permanent? The clerk gets her attention and tells her that others are waiting. Cheok Hee holds out her card and asks for the stamp. Clerk scornfully asks why she’s looking for a stamp there. She said she’s an office manager, but she doesn't even know how to place a stamp? Embarrassing. Especially in front of Bong. Clerk tells her that without proof of payment for the stamp, she cannot file it, so she needs to move aside.
Clerk shoves the papers off of her counter, so they flutter to the floor. Now, that was being a jerk. Cheok Hee has to pick them up. A man walks by and accidentally hits her with his briefcase, which shoves her forward so that her head smacks the counter. Ouch. Jung Woo has to hold himself back from going to her rescue. Ow, and now she has a cut on her forehead. Come on, and rescue her, Jung Woo! Bong steps on one of the papers to keep her from picking it up. She looks up at him. He tells her that it suits her. Being below. Wow, I’m not liking Bong now. That’s really obnoxious.
Jung Woo hears him and it ticks him off. Rightly so. She’s annoying but she’s *his* annoying! He’s about to head over there when Soo Ah appears. Bong asks Cheok Hee what kind of crazy office hired a disbarred lawyer as an office manager. A person who can't even file a complaint. Min Kyu appears, calling Cheok Hee’s name. And it’s Min Kyu to the rescue. He doesn’t even hesitate. Dude, Jung Woo! He is going to get your girl if you keep lacking confidence!
I guess Bong didn’t catch it when they were at the club earlier. Bong looks surprised that it’s *his* son that was the crazy man who hired her. Min Kyu pauses briefly to look at his father and then reaches down and shoves Bong off the paper he’s standing on, clucking that Min Kyu told Dad to switch trainers. Dad’s lower body is so weak. And his face looks like he’s disappointed that his father is being this petty. Bong clarifies what he heard: the office manager Min Kyu chose is Go Cheok Hee?
Nonplussed, Min Kyu replies that he already told his dad that he’d be very surprised when he found out. Bong is ticked. Has Min Kyu forgotten what Go Cheok Hee has done?! Min Kyu replies that he couldn’t forget. Cheok Hee is the one who made BF, who proudly boasted their 100% success rate, lower their rate to a 99%. He points out that Cheok Hee was disbarred during her excellent career, thanks to CEO Bong In Jae. Dad shoots back that she was disbarred not because of him but because she used illegal evidence in court.
Min Kyu replies that Dad’s memory must be going. There are tens of lawyers like that at BF. Use of illegal evidence, illegal use of someone's name, and tax evasion. Dad’s looking around because he doesn’t anyone to hear Min Kyu bust him out. Now that you're over 60 years old, is your memory blinking on and off? Hand motion of a blinking light. Heh. I’m lilking Min Kyu more and more.
Soo Ah walks up and says, “Lawyer,” in a way that sounds like she’s chastising Min Kyu. He might actually like you if you weren’t so stuck to his dad’s hip. Jung Woo stops forward, looking down. It’s obvious he’s uncomfortable because Cheok Hee’s been humiliated. She asks why he’s there. He can barely look her in the eye.
Some of Bong’s cronies walk up, asking him what is taking him so long. Min Kyu notes that the Attorney General is here. Should he tell the Chairman? Bong says Min Kyu’s name with admonishment. Min Kyu asks if Dad is nervous. He just needs to relax. Just because BF does some illegal things, do you think the Korean Bar Association will suspend everyone there? Right, Attorney General? Uncomfortable glances all around. Bong hisses at Min Kyu that he’s a rascal. Soo Ah announces that the car is ready outside. Their appointment is at 11 so they must leave. Bong takes that escape and gets gone. Along with Soo Ah and the A.G.
Jung Woo immediately starts picking up the complaint off the floor (helping Cheok Hee). Min Kyu reaches over a brushes the bangs away from the cut in her head, asking if she’s okay. His voice is really gentle. She tells him to forget it. Jung Woo stands, now holding all the papers. She asks him when he got there. He barely mutters. He feels so bad for her. Min Kyu says that he saw Jung Woo standing there for a while. What exactly was he doing? If an subordinate isn't able to fulfill her duty well, isn't it Jung Woo’s job to help her through?
Cheok Hee tries to smooth things over. She tells her sunbae that that's not it. He came because he thought she couldn't do it. Wrist grab. Cheok Hee is shocked so she stops talking.
♬ That one day ♬
Soo Ah turns around to catch the wrist grab. She’s not happy. Losing him again to another woman!
♬ The day when you came to me ♬
Jung Woo hands Cheok Hee the papers, not meeting her eyes. He shakes his head for her to stop.
♬ Your warmth ♬
Still holding onto Cheok Hee’s wrist, Jung Woo bows deeply to Min Kyu and apologizes. Min Kyu tells Jung Woo that he will see him in the office tomorrow, takes Cheok Hee’s hand and leads her away. Slow motion of her slipping out of his grasp. As she walks away, she looks back at Jung Woo.
♬ That one day. I believed in it forever ♬
♬ The naive promises. I'll erase them all. ♬
Jung Woo can only watch her go. And he feels like absolute crap. I feel so bad for him because it genuinely hurt him to see someone humiliate her.
Episode Ends.
Thoughts
I’ve read some comments about the leads not having any chemistry. I guess they missed that scene in the hall where he made her look at him.
This episode made me really wonder what is up with Min Kyu. He is totally not the fop that he portrays. He’s the Scarlet Pimpernel! For those of you not familiar with that reference, he’s a fictional English nobleman during the beginning of the French Revolution. By day he acts like a dim-witted, foppish playboy, but by night, he is rescuing people (mostly nobles) from the guillotine. Even his own wife is clueless that her estranged husband is actually the daring hero that she has fallen in love with.
So, Min Kyu is the Scarlet Pimpernel. I wonder what his end game is? And will he eventually get married, even though he’s totally not in love with his arranged fiancĂ©?
I really didn’t like what I saw in Bong’s character this week. Before, I kind of got that he was a shark, but now he’s coming off as someone completely vindictive. And a hypocrite. In this episode we learned what happened with Jung Woo’s ‘accident’ – a subway bombing where he lost the woman he loved – and Cheok Hee’s mother – who died of liver failure after making Cheok Hee enroll in college with her treatment money. Mi Hee is still a selfish twat. The anniversary of the girl’s death has to be coming up soon, since they mentioned it on the news…
Since they never found Jung Woo’s dead love’s body – I worry that she’ll turn up alive some where. I really hope the don’t go melo on us and have that happen.
To quote Min Kyu, "This is getting more and more interesting."
Very useful post. This is my first time i visit here. I found so many interesting stuff in your blog especially its discussion. Really its great article. Keep it up. DIVORCIO
