- There will be gratuitous shots of delicious looking food. If food is being prepared, like a cooking show, the drama will show you how it's done.
- If ordering coffee, it will be either a cappuccino or Americano.
- If not drinking coffee, people will drink tea or orange juice. Or Soju.
- It is socially acceptable to stuff your face while eating so that you look like a chipmunk.
- When at an outside café, it is typical to yell out your order.
- Typically, when eating out, there will be a grill where you will fry your own meat.
- If you drink alcohol, it will include Soju.
- Whenever you are hungry, your stomach will growl very loudly to announce that fact.
- If you are in a restaurant, it will have a piano that they let anyone randomly use without asking permission.
- When eating together, you should give portions of the food to someone you care about.
- At some point someone will eat ramyun. It tastes even better when eaten out of the ramyun pot’s lid. And often you will have or mention kimchi. And sometimes, you will make your kimchi from scratch.
- When people drink, they will typically drink too much, even if they are out with their boss and other co-workers.
- If someone is upset, s/he will go out and drink until smash-down drunk. Someone will carry them home with a piggyback ride.

Cliches: Eating and Drinking
Just like Americans, Koreans have food and beverages that they prefer and mores regarding them. Here's some of the cliches you might find in a k-drama:
