Episode starts with romantic piano music playing as Cheok Hee puts the Red Tie of Courage on Jung Woo. He looks down at her as she works. She sees him. Cheok Hee steps back and announces that it’s all done. Jung Woo takes a deep breath and tells her that she’s right. With the red tie on, his logic has disappeared and only bravery remains. She smiles at that aknowledgement. Jung Woo tells her not to interrupt him and to listen carefully. What he said at the end in the subway station, the one he likes more than Nan Joong Il Gi, what he likes more than egg rolls – he takes a step forward – and the thing that isn't absent from his mind these days… Go Cheok Hee.
She doesn’t get it. He says her name again. Go Cheok Hee. His voice when he says it, makes me want to squee! So impassioned, so excited. I love Jung Woo. He starts to tell her but they’re interrupted by Soo Ah. She notices that he’s not wearing her tie. It stings. She crumples up the business card in her hand. He’s surprised to see her and asks why she’s there. She lies and says that she was there an errand for CEO Bong. Jung Woo fidgets a little as he tries to cover up Soo Ah’s tie with his hand. Soo Ah says that she’s tired and he brought his car right? She proceeds to walk off with him – they sure do get pulled apart from each other a lot on this show – before Cheok Hee can respond to what Jung Woo just said. Send him a text, Cheok Hee. He’s not taken! Send him a text where you say that you like him, too!!! Do it!
♬ That one day ♬
Instead of just watching him go, Cheok Hee calls after them. She asks, “I what?"
♬ The day when you came to me ♬
Jung Woo quickly extricates himself from Soo Ah’s arm to go back to Cheok Hee.
♬ Your warmth ♬
He tells her that they should go eat together tomorrow. Just the two of them.
♬ The day when it penetrated deep into my heart ♬
Cheok Hee starts to smile as she confirms: The two of us? Jung Woo smiles as he nods. Aw, so cute! Cheok Hee nods her agreement.

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 7 Recap
Episode starts with Jung Woo running down the stairs and catching Cheok Hee as she enters the subway train. He’s really panting from running. He tells her not to go and then repeats it with more force. Min Kyu is a little annoyed. He asks what Jung Woo is doing. Cheok Hee asks him why. Jung Woo replies: Nan Joong Il Gi (diary of Korean Admiral Yi Sun Sin). Min Kyu looks at him like that was an insane thing to say. But Cheok Hee and I know what he’s talking about. He adds: egg rolls, peppermint candy. Cheok Hee is visibly moved.
Jung Woo looks up at her and the doors close. Jung Woo adds his last one: Go Cheok Hee. And again, he makes my heart hurt. He has to watch her ride away.
♬ That one day ♬
She doesn’t want to be riding away.
♬ The day when you came to me ♬
Inside the train, Cheok Hee asks Min Kyu if Jung Woo said something at the end.
♬ Your warmth ♬
♬ The day when it penetrated deep into my heart ♬
Min Kyu says he didn't catch it. I’m tempted to think that he’s not being honest here, even if he doesn’t understand what the list means. (For those of you who missed it, it’s a list of things that Jung Woo likes that helps him to walk again when life hurts so much that he can’t move. Cheok Hee is part of his list.)

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 6 Recap
So, we get to watch them kiss again. And it was only Episode 5! Yay for skinship!
Episode starts with Jung Woo and Cheok Hee arguing over whether kissing means that people love each other. He’s saying that kissing and love aren't related? Then Jung Woo could kiss anyone even if he didn't love them! Jung Woo protests that that's not what he’s not saying! Cheok Hee tells him to prove it! Jung Woo sighs a ‘seriously, this woman!’ sigh. She goads him.
Romantic piano music plays as he kisses her. Min Kyu arrives to see it and to see them both spring backward, horrified that they just kissed. Jung Woo, especially, is freaking out. Partially because he just initiated that liplock. Cheok Hee glances in Min Kyu’s direction and sees his shocked face. She hurries out to talk to him. Jung Woo notices Min Kyu and sheepishly steps out of his office. Cheok Hee can hardly speak as she asks him if he saw it? Min Kyu has regained his composure. He looks over at Jung Woo, who looks down at the floor, ashamed. She repeats the question and Min Kyu asks her what he might have seen. She tries to be convincing as she says that it was nothing. They were just fighting. She was wondering if he saw them. Jung Woo still can’t make eye contact.
Cheok Hee tells Min Kyu that they should go. She wants to go home quickly and rest. As she rushes past Min Kyu, she knocks his phone out of his hand. Jung Woo reaches down to pick it up and Min Kyu slaps his hand. Then he ‘apologizes.’ It was unconsciously done. They stand back up and Min Kyu, pointedly, tells Jung Woo that he has a personality where he hates others if they touch something of his. Heh. Cheok Hee has returned to hear that and is really uncomfortable now. She makes Min Kyu leave. And Jung Woo looks like he wants to be sick. As they go, he has to brace himself against the wall not to fall over.
Out in the hall, Min Kyu stops walking and asks Cheok Hee why she’s at the office so late with Jung Woo. She replies, sounding guilty, that it was nothing. Some lady came for a divorce because of a kiss. Jung Woo said that a kiss isn't enough of a reason for a divorce. She told him to prove it and they were arguing... Sunbae is in scolding mode. Min Kyu asks her who the building belongs to. Him, of course. Who accepts the rent for the place? He does. Min Kyu says that he’s saying don't kiss So Jung Woo just to acquire a case! Cheok Hee puts a hand over her mouth, horrified that he *did* see it.

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 5 Recap
Episode starts with Yoo Mi, Jung Sook and Kyung out at the restaurant. Kyung has passed out, Yoo Mi is convinced that something romantic is going to happen and Jung Sook thinks Yoo Mi is crazy, since Cheok Hee and Jung Woo are worse than Tom and Jerry. Do they have Tom and Jerry in Korea? If not, what phrase is she using here? Yoo Mi will not be persuaded that she’s crazy. Even though she is. How meta is that? She’s convinced that it will happen because it happens on dramas, and this is a drama, but one that's trying to be like real life, so it can’t happen, because that kind of things doesn't happen in real life. Even though it's still a drama. My head is spinning now.
Again with Cheok Hee and Jung Woo walking backward and shots of their bums. Especially's Cheok Hee's bum. Jung Woo's is covered by his trenchcoat. That's a secure woman who doesn't mind a close up of her bum. They bump into each other and sparks fly. Yoo Mi is sure that something is definitely going to happen. In real life, however, they are appalled that their bums touched, with Jung Woo vigorously trying to wipe off Cheok Hee’s cooties. Jung Woo protests that men can file a lawsuit for sexual harassment if they receive unwanted physical contact, too! Cheok Hee replies that she should be saying that to him. He better not even dare to brush against her clothes. Harassment during work from a superior is punishable even without a lawsuit from the victim. Jung Woo makes a face at her, muttering, “I can't even-“ But then he spots Scumbag.
Jung Woo starts to push down on Cheok Hee’s head. She growls at him not to touch her. He whispers at her that the people came. That gets her to duck down. Jung Woo does a hand motion for shooting pictures and says, “Click! Click!” Lots of pictures of Scumbag holding hands with Trollop. They’re all smiles for each other. And that’s a nice camera that they just had lying around the office. The lens alone costs about $2,000. The body is at least $3,000. And they just happened to have it lying around the office.
They sneak down closer. Cheok Hee has a mishap, so she hands the camera to Jung Woo. Oh, my gosh! Scumbag and Trollop are going at it, in front of an open window. Jung Woo gets pictures of the kissing and Scumbag stripping off Trollop’s coat (in a very ‘let’s have sex’ sort of way). More pictures of kissing and them on the bed. This guy is sunk. Cheok Hee is watching Jung Woo, clutching at her back from when she fell.

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 4 Recap
Arg! I don’t know about all of you, but Spring is always a miserable time of year for me. While I love all the growth of flowers and leaves on trees, I *hate* the pollen that comes with those blooming plants, the mold that comes with the rain, and the migraines that I seem to have with increased frequency as a result. The last 2 weeks, I have been relatively side-lined with my head feeling like it’s going to either explode or float away with dizziness. So now I am really behind on my recapping!
When last we left off, Min Kyu arrived and rescued Cheok Hee from being humiliated by his father, Bong In Jae. Of course, it was right as Jung Woo was about to do it, but Jung Woo waited too long, so it was Min Kyu to the rescue. Bong walks away – which bothers Min Kyu. I’m not sure for what reason. He’s a enigmatic character that I have yet to figure out. Jung Woo bends down to pick up the petition papers – because he’s nice like that – while Min Kyu checks Cheok Hee’s head (which he split open when she got pushed against the counter). Jung Woo awkwardly straightens the papers and she’s embarrassed that Jung Woo witnessed the whole thing. He’s seen you at your worst. So why be embarrassed?
Min Kyu ‘yells’ at Jung Woo for just standing there and when Cheok Hee starts to cover for him, Jung Woo does a wrist grab to silence her. She’s a little shocked – and not just that he stopped her, but how it stirred something. It’s obvious that he feels terrible. His poor face! Soo Ah turns around to see Jung Woo’s continued wrist grab and it bothers her. As evidenced by the small frown she made before she took off after Bong. She’s not happy as she leaves, but duty (to Bong) calls. He’s going to fall in love with another woman again! Although, last episode, we discovered that the mystery woman is actually a mystery woman – someone who saved Jung Woo's life in the Seoul Metro Explosion from 7 years ago. And, I hate to break it to you, Soo Ah, but Jung Woo's already in love with Cheok Hee, although he’s in denial. I think if she’d ever been remotely nice to him, he would have realized it, but, folks, he definitely is. No man would put up with how much she tormented him and belittles him unless he was emotionally attached.
Jung Woo shakes his head to tell her to stop – because he knows that his motives weren’t totally pure, watching to see if Cheok Hee failed – and humbly apologizes, bowing deeply to Min Kyu. Even though, shouldn’t be bowing to Cheok Hee? He still is holding on to her wrist, though. Heh. Min Kyu takes Cheok Hee’s hand and walks her away, telling Jung Woo that he’ll see Jung Woo in the morning. Slow motion focus on her being pulled out of his hand and his hand not wanting to let go. All Jung Woo can do is watch her go. Cheok Hee looks back at him as she walks away. Still confused by what it means, these strange feelings he’s stirred. And I feel so bad for Jung Woo. He is such a nice guy – who has the appropriate amount of pride without being arrogant – and he’s compassionate of others, even people that he doesn’t like. Poor Jung Woo.

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 3 Recap
The episode picks up where the last one left off: Cheok Hee, Wife and Mom outside the hotel room that Husband has rented. Cheok Hee pinches her nose to announce ‘Delivery.’ Husband – nicely dressed and freshly shaved – opens door and is surprised to find Wife and Mom-in-law there. Wife yells, “Let's get a divorce!” and pushes her way into the room. Inside is decked out with rose petals and balloons. Husband grabs wife to stop her from going any further and asks how she knew to come there.
Woman appears carrying a cake. Wife wrenches herself free, knocking husband to the floor, runs over and shoves the cake in the Woman’s face. I so think that this is going to be a misunderstanding. Why would Woman be carrying a cake if Husband was there for a rendezvous with her? Woman screams. Cheok Hee is taking plenty of pictures. Wife goes to attack Husband, but he shoves her away, asking why Wife is like this. Then he gets tissues for Woman to wipe the cake off her face, asking if she’s okay. To crazy scorned wife, that would look like Woman is the mistress. To me, it looks like she’s completely innocent, possibly hired by Husband to encourage Wife, and he doesn’t want Woman to charge him extra money or sue him because of crazy Wife.
As Wife cries, Husband screams at her, “What are you doing?” Mom asks her son-in-law how he can do this! Even though she didn't like his family background, his lack of skills or his looks, Mom let him marry her daughter because she thought he wouldn't be the type to cheat! How could he do this?! And Cheok Hee is taking tons of photos. Husband is confused by what Mom is saying. Cheat?
Jung Woo arrives, out of breath. Wife calls him ‘Lawyer.’ He quickly bow respectfully. Husband can’t believe that Wife hired a lawyer. Jung Woo spots Cheok Hee and point accusingly at her. She knows what he’s not saying and now looks regretful. Wife is sputtering about wanting a divorce. Husband walks over and grabs Wife’s arm, demanding to know if she came there to get a divorce. I’m not happy that he’s man-handled her, but she is a little hysterical and violent right now.

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 2 Recap
One thing that I have to mention before I begin this recap is that already, Yun Woo Jin has shown what a good actor he is. When I think of his body language, etc., in ‘Marriage, Not Dating’ and then his body language in Episode One, two totally different people. This is the first thing I’ve seen Jo Yeo Jung in, but I already like her. She’s playing someone who has way to big of an opinion of herself, and yet she’s doing it so that you don’t hate her.
So, on to Episode Two.
The episode begins with where we left off… Jung Woo sitting in his office, about to interview the new Office Manager candidate. Just like the end of last episode, Jung Woo leaps out of his chair, bows deeply and offers her his seat, and she happily takes it. But then, there's the question of “Why are you here?”
In walks Min Kyu. He sees that they’ve seen each other. Cheok Hee notices the sign says ‘Lawyer So Jung Woo’ and she’s horrified because it’s starting to dawn on her what that means: that she’s interviewing to be *his* employee. Which would be even more humiliating that I’m sure this already is, considering how horribly she treated him in the past. Min Kyu smiles as he watches her reaction. Which makes me stifle a laugh. He’s doing this on purpose. And he acts so oblivious all the time. I think I have his number now. He’s watching everyone like a hawk, even as he acts clueless.
Jung Woo has yet to catch on. He stands there and blinks rapidly.

Divorce Lawyer in Love Episode 1 Recap
Ever since I saw that Yun Woo Jin was going to be in a new drama, I have been eagerly waiting for it to begin. And it doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint.
The series begins with dramatic music playing (kind of reminds me of something from ‘The Apprentice’ or ‘The Amazing Race’) and our leads standing on the helipad of a rooftop. So Jung Woo (Yun Woo Jin) sneers, telling Go Cheok Hee that she’s a psycho. (And Korean for psycho is ‘psycho’) Cheok Hee (Jo Yeo Jung) answers back that Jung Woo is an as$hole. Nice yellow business suit. He replies that she still has a bad temperament. She laughs one of those laughs people do when they’re in disbelief and says that he still shows no promise of success.
Jung Woo slaps his chest for emphasis and declares that he is her boss! She laughs, scoffingly, and tells him that he grew up a lot. Three years ago, he couldn't even look her in the eyes.
And we go back to three years ago.
